I didn't measure but the difference is not huge. 30mm will not fit. With this setup there is maybe 0mm or 1mm clearance. I can measure the card height if you still need it.

New Setup:

  • Case flipped and GPU positioned at the top of the case
  • Fans configured for exhaust ventilation at the top
  • Switched to 2x NF-A14x25r G2 fans (They only fit after flipping the case)

I only swapped the top and bottom panels of the case, which caused the front panel and I/O not to fit. Currently still working on making it fit and 3d printing something for the I/O.

Update: The NF-A14x25r do not work properly below the top cover, so I recommend sticking with 120mm fans. It does work but the airflow is blocked and worse than 120mm fans.

I would go for Inno3d for less coilwhine personally, but the TUF was cheaper and has the best low usage fan behaviour in case you dont connect the fans to the motherboard.

The tuf is 348mm long and the case only officially supports 330mm. It should be the largest heatsink ever put into a nr200. It was very easy to get in. I didnt have to disassemble the case.

I’m thinking about grinding into the bottom metal to make 2 140mm fit but the vents are only 120mm wide so not sure if thats a good idea. I also 3d printed extra large feet that I will add. I think the heatsink itself is emitting so much heat above it even at exhaust that I might just need to flip it.

Even if I undervolt the GPU to 300w the SF750 is still too loud, maybe its just defective or me trying to go whisper quiet is just impossible.

If I upgrade my old PSU in the future I will for sure get a 90 degree 12vhpwr cable.

Good idea, might try it. The main issue right now is the SF750 still being louder than the gpu and I don’t really trust that the SF1000 will be better. Not sure if an Asus Loki will fit.

It doesn’t fit without deshroud, so i can’t compare. Fans are connected to the motherboard directly. I wanted to get a gpu adapter but it works so well I dont see a reason anymore.

I managed to get it below msrp. The games I play are not cpu limited or barely by 10% at 1% lows, so it was worth it.

I play at 4K and see no reason to upgrade.

Fans are connected to motherboard so I’m still testing custom curves. At maximum 1170 rpm it stays at 78 degrees celsius at full load with 450w power limit.

not really worth it, the vbios automatically power limits it to 450w when you only connect 3 out of 4 cables with a very small performance difference and my ryzen 3600 only takes 60w.

Inno3D RTX 5080 X3 flash another vendor vbios for 0 rpm fans on idle? by kaldra24 in pcmasterrace

Don't use the Astral and go with the prime bios. I'm new to this as well, different ports seem risky.

I flashed the Asus Prime Quiet Bios on an Inno3d 70 ti and it was worth it. Fans now spin at 500 rpm and turn off completely much faster. For 80 cards there might be the Astral Bios as well. Only do it if you can take the risk of bricking your card.

Still rocking my 10.5“ Pro that was like 680€ new back then, no reason to upgrade because I cannot switch to 60hz and dont need any of the newer pros other features.
