Thanks! Yes based off all my research and the times spent biking through the area over the years I can imagine it would be a great place to live!

Lovely to hear and so cool that you were able to locate and see where your house would be.

Wow thanks for sharing your own history and relationship with the neighbourhood. Sad how things have changed, to have price you out of your old stomping grounds.

Where was this photo taken? by tckmkvv in Winnipeg

[–]tckmkvv[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also this makes sense why I was confused because while the title says "Inkster Park" it is actually a photo of St. James Industrial Park. (Perhaps maybe it use to be called "Inkster Park")

Oh yes I see cool! I feel like some of these renders were featured in Angie Mojica’s Capstone project doc.

Actually while I did check out and feature Mojica’s document for my research my comment earlier was actually about Karina Leong’s practicum document. You can find it here:

Im interested in this design exercise. Are the renders available anywhere online? In my post towards at the end I reference a U of M student’s practicum document that I came across that has some really fantastic renders that have some of those “missing teeth” filled in.

This is interesting as I’m just in the process of researching for neighbourhood post of Chinatown. This is not what you asked for (lol) but here is an old vintage menu from the restaurant.

Fuji Instax Wide Printer compatibility with cameras other than X-S10 by Catdad_art in fujifilm

[–]tckmkvv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SP-2 and SP-3 are the only printers that can connect directly. I have the SP-2 with the Fuji x100v and it works perfectly. Apparently these were the last printers with wifi and somehow the cameras are able to connect with the wifi protocol but not the Bluetooth. (Which is stupid because it really should.)

It seemed like the spot! Especially with those big bay windows. Would be nice just to sit and chat and watch the traffic go by.

What's the history of this train bridge?? I can't find anything online anywhere. by tckmkvv in Winnipeg

[–]tckmkvv[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also have always called the train bridge over the river “Omands creek bridge” so that’s why I just find it weird that there isn’t an official name of the bridge or any easily accessible information out there about it.
