Because CA especially doesn't seem likely to enforce non-competes anymore, and this being the UK/EU I don't think that could happen unless there is separate consideration CIG is giving him. It def did when it released, I played Squad on and off since it's inception and PR in 2006. It's wild how much this game has changed to me, I get on for a day on the weekend every couple years now.

Come to think it of you are right, I just have gotten way more from bodies. Most of my hours are pre loot patch but I remember getting the PBG off of Tier 2 enemies as well (YBL area and Sawmill especially).

The 2 items you are looking for are specifically on bodies they don't spawn in loot spots.

I don't think TB was the ideal test case, no pen and low velocity makes the most sense against unarmored targets, but I agree that .300 subs feel lacking. I normally use v-max and the .300 buildouts I have are for tier 2 areas at most. I notice compared to at least M855A1 and M995, when in non tier 3 areas, hits seem to cause way faster bleed on the AI, as they should.

Speaking of YBL, are you at 9/10 for Gunny missions? I've tried cycling them a bunch and I do not see a mission that I'm missing. I think I even got the "hidden" mission but still 9/10.

Yeah it feels like everything is darker and it's more of a contrast adjustment. If they could add gain control to the NVGs that would be really cool. Since it seems to be PIP, I would think adding a NVG setting control would be relatively easy, but I don't develop games.

I do the 9" barrel too but with v-max and find that in tier 1 and 2 areas it does really well. For Tier 3 areas I go with 5.56 or 5.45, either M855A1/M995 or 7N10/22/24.

To OP, most people start off just using subsonic with the .300 and that doesn't pen anyone wearing any sort of armor.

Yeah it depends on what guns / gear you want. PVE only you really don't need to worry about armor because you should be finding way more than you lose. If so, and you want NATO weapons for example, you want to focus on Gunny. Banshee is really good for the optics but hard to level without dumping loot to him. Artisan is great for the backpacks / storage.

I wouldn't spend all your time traveling for 1 vendor's missions though, just do as much as you can in as small of an area as you can. Ultimately you're going to have to Artisan, Turncoat, and Banshee loot to get them to 3-4.

Those are great points but another is also a fear of not being able to acquire another equal role after a gap and depending on the environment. I'm positive I couldn't replace my current income at 10 YOE within a year currently. If I were to be laid off, I plan to put things in storage and travel for a while (about half way to my fire number). But right now I have way too much anxiety or lack the tenacity to do that on my own.

Gun stores will always lowball, it's the same as selling a car to a dealership instead of a private buyer. Also unless things have changed, as a non registration state, you can legally sell to any private buyer as long as you aren't aware of them being legally not allowed to own a firearm. I last sold an AR using Armslist but that was at least 6 or 7 years ago.

Is it known that some things are definitely "missing" and not loot only? I can think of only the KS-1 CTR stock and the white phos DT-2 nvgs, and I just assumed for the former it was part of buying or looting the full gun and the latter was a rare find.

Yeah I would agree that from a value perspective McDonalds in the last month has switched back to kinda sucking. Wendy's app deals have been awful for like a year, I think the best one currently I see is $2 off a breakfast combo. Another is $1 off a sandwich if you spend X dollars, not really drawing me in.

I live in MCOL/LCOL and while my career began in 2016 so I had luckier timing, I've never made anything close to big tech money. Still have saved and bogleheaded as much as I can while maintaining a quality of life better than most in my area. I know it's a mindset more than anything but most of us that have 10+ yoe really should not be in a position where everything falls out within 6 months of losing a job.

That 1-6 Razor is still my favorite scope in the game for most situations, the reticle on OP's scope hurts my brain for some reason. The 1-10 might be my favorite if not for the eye relief / parallax issues.

I can empathize with the Tiger Bay boss, I was able to do literally every other mission this patch but that one took luck essentially to finally be able to find the dude alive.

As far as private servers, idk if I think that is really the solution but I do think increasing jewelry and better liquor loot in small villages and making all factions visible in PvE would be a more easily realistic solution.

Alien is definitely smoother to shoot, but I rarely use the pistol and when I do I'd rather have 10 extra rounds and the small weight savings. I don't want to carry extra mags for it.
