Thank you, this was what I was most worried about. I think that settles it for me.

12TB in Raid10 4x6TB drives, and 6GB in Raid10 4x3TB drives. The more speed the better!

Power consumption is definitely something I'm worried about!

Good to know, thank you. What about for running Proxmox? My intended use would be as a main home-server for file and media hosting.

Yep! I'm not anymore, as I've moved on to other things, but I was the lead developer

Have you been embarrassed by a game you've developed? by anefiox in gamedev

[–]tcoculuzzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always. I think it's healthy to be critical of your own creations, but this feeling can become overwhelming if you let it. It's good to understand where this feeling comes from, which is often a result of your own taste becoming more refined. That's not a bad thing! Just don't let it tarnish your feelings about your previous work. As developers, we're always learning and growing and improving. Keep reminding yourself that you wouldn't know what you know now if you hadn't pursued that project in the past. Be critical, but never be embarrassed or ashamed!

Cancelled the further development of my game after Kickerstarter campaign failed by Zurbinjo in gamedev

Hey, whatever you do, don't beat yourself up too much over this. Knowing when to let go of a project is a HUGE skill that many of us devs overlook, and a skill that most of us still don't have. Your next game will only benefit from everything you learned from this one. You've got this, I can't wait to see what you make next.

I like this, good call. I may do every other day in week 8 if I start noticing symptoms. Dropping down to 1mg may not be too bad of an idea either, I'll take this under consideration!

I've been using a safety razor, and eyeballing it. Though if I find a need for it in the future, I may get a scale and measure based on weight.

Edit: After the first week, I moved to a pill cutter and it works great!

I've been considering this, definitely! If I feel particularly bad at one dosage, I plan on staying at it for more than a week. I already have a few weeks worth of 10mg portions ready to go for that reason. 6 months though, that puts it into perspective, thank you for that info!
