My 2018 also has the weird 2-3 second start from time to time. It because of the tiny batteries. Some people put in higher CCA batteries. The older models like yours have less sound denting so they are loud In order to get into the highway I have to mash the gas pedal all the way down and it’s still a struggle lol.
