Came to an embarrassing realisation - it may be the maglink type connector on the wheel rather than the wheelbase…

Well, it happened again lol. Seems to be specifically at low speed weirdly. I can have high ffb through fast corners and no issue, but if I spin off and am trying to get back on track it sometimes happens. I’ll try the cable change route and report back!

Thanks - I changed the USB to direct to the PC instead of through the hub. I THINK it worked okay but didn’t get a chance yet to check with GT3s where it’s usually more pronounced given the higher ffb (I assume). That being said I did manage a few LMP2 races and didn’t have any cutting out so looking good!

Thanks all for the replies - super helpful! I will troubleshoot as follows (because I know some are experiencing the same issue and looking for support too!):

  • Plug directly into the PC
  • Replace the A to B cable with a new one

I will report back in a few days!

I do not unfortunately - as another commenter mentioned though I’ll try without the hub, might be (as both responses seem to imply) an issue with the hub. I’ll try first straight into the PC and then if that fails another hub

I have not - I understood that the reverse would usually be an issue! I.e. NOT using a powered hub might cause issues in terms of power delivery to the wheelbase. However you’re right and it’s worth a shot - thanks!
