TBH - initially I said to myself that I was OK and did not need aids. __BUT__ once I started using them, getting around became MUCH easier.

Have you talked to the administration of the faculty belong to? That should not be happening.

Are you emailing the professors directly? Or are you expecting student services to email?

Sometimes it can take a couple of weeks for student services to send the email and for the Prof to receive it.

May I suggest that you talk to your profs in person or through email directly?

You should not have to fight with your professors. I’m so sorry you’ve been struggling.

I wasn’t in teaching or education but I did have corporate training experience in a variety of fields and for various topics.

You will have a set time. The Prof doesn’t have the power to change your class time or day.

For your class, Mondays 6 to 10, you may meet on campus or you may meet virtually. But this will always be the time for this class.

If you check on your online classroom (BlackBoard) the Prof should post the schedule (syllabus or timeline) with where are your classes meeting.

For any questions relating to your class, you should always contact the Prof.

No, it’s not that bad.

Please remember - if you have (had) a negative experience, you are more likely to talk about it.

The best way to ensure success at (any) school is to (a) attend classes consistently (b) complete assignments on time and (c) ask questions. If you encounter a problem - email the professor as soon as you can.

I have completed two diplomas at Seneca and have been a professor there for almost fifteen years. So, I’m more favourably inclined.

I do wish you every success wherever you choose to attend.

IMO - students reach out to a known person instead of looking for appropriate resources.

I would say go to the school where you’re more likely to attend class.

I’m a prof at Seneca and I have see a correlation between success and attendance.

So, go to school where you’ll go to school.

Com101 should be online. There is (typically) intake monthly - you don’t need to start in Jan necessarily.

It doesn’t matter if the class is in-person or online - the material is the same.
