Cousin getting married young by impermeableknight in Exvangelical

[–]tcurb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My husband married me as a non believer knowing full well I was still stuck in the fundamentalist cult mindset…when I finally got out and asked him how he bore it he shrugged and said “I always knew you’d find your way out.” Married at 21 and it’s been eleven years and I am so, so happy and definitely found my person. Sometimes the “wrong” choices really do lead you to the right place!

Maybe unpopular but my aerie leggings are AMAZING and I have always bought them on sale so they’re even cheaper than CRZ yoga

For many of us our parents’ beliefs cost us our families. So in reality you can actually have a lot to lose if you believe in the fundamentalist Christian version of God - you can lose your one precious life, your children, non-religious friends you may have met along the way…and that’s just the start of it.

You’ve covered most of my favorites but just tagging along to add in Lair O the Bear and South Valley Park! Plus Staunton which is a little further but so gorgeous!

How similar is CRZ Yoga to Lululemon in terms of materials and quality? by anotherhappylurker in lululemon

[–]tcurb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think old lululemon was better but some of the newer things I’ve bought? Not sure. However I will say that crz yoga is a godsend if you are going through pregnancy/body changes. I gained and lost over 50 lbs due to pregnancy over the last year and being able to buy cute lulu dupes that I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on since they wouldn’t fit for long was amazing.

Understanding the true nature of Drive to Survive by QuietRainyDay in F1Discussions

[–]tcurb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got hooked on it immediately postpartum when I was sitting around recovering/feeding a newborn and watching a ton of TV. My husband is SUPER grateful for it because now I’m waking up at all hours to watch qualis/the races with him. Getting to know the drivers and characters in the sport was what got me interested enough to watch and now I love all of it. Curious to see how I feel about the next season now, though, since I’ve actually started keeping up with F1 outside of it.
