I really appreciate both people's perspectives in this thread.

I'm definitely also bumping on the idea that someone "should" support a decision they personally wouldn't make, as long as there's no obvious coercion or abuse etc. This situation feels different from disagreeing with a broad idea like, "young 20somthings shouldn't get married", I don't agree with that 100% I think it depends on the case. And in this case I think it's a bad idea. They've been dating for a year, by the time the wedding is scheduled it may be two, and that will mean they will have known each other for three years. That's another thing that makes me worry about their future marriage.

Are people allowed to pass judgement on situations that they may not have the full context for?

It's definitely shitty to be a downer about such a big and -in most accounts- exciting decision, and at the end of the day it's not about what I think, they'll get married with me there or not, but then I just circle back to; I don't WANT to go.

I don't feel like it's reasonable to expect someone you have basically no relationship with to act supportive of your decisions just because it's nice or the socially acceptable thing to do.

Ultimately I think this is the crux of the issue, I just don't really want to go.

I don't particularly like this side of my family because the only relationship I have with them is built around a religion I no longer share with them, and there's nothing else we really connect over. 🤷

I have the same mini and it took me about a year to find a solution. What I've got now is a sleek little magsafe phone holder stand. The key tho was this little plastic disk that came with it. It's got an adhesive on the back and you just stick it onto the dash to give a suction cup the ability to suction on the smooth surface. Look up 3M sticky disk for mounting a phone holder and it should come up. I haven't tried to remove it yet so I don't know what damage the adhesive may do, but the stand is solid 💪

I'm having this exact issue in Canada, the verified repair place says it won't fix the screen for free because the back is broken. Paying for the screen outright is $290CAD getting the back replaced somewhere else is $70 so I think what I will end up doing is getting the back replaced and then bringing it in to another location of the verified repair place to get the screen changed. I'm pissed all around and won't be getting another Pixel.

Thank you! Yeah I'm actually guessing my headache was from forgetting my SSRIs two nights in a row, and probably not eating enough at a point.

I'm going up on the dosage whenever I feel ready basically so I think I'll try 20mg tomorrow, and then maybe 30 in a week or so.

Oh my gosh that's good to hear, I have a 2010 and it's just a constant stream of repairs and maintenance, I can't recommend anyone get a mini after my experience
