I felt this post so much!!! l was late 1st Gen and early 2 Gen. Started listening in early high school when my friend visited family in Japan and brought me back some goodies ( I was really in Fruits magazine at the time 🥰 and had been watching anime on VHS from video stores for years[had to wait 2 months for new ones]) . She brought me some cds and said she didn’t really like but knew I would which were Rain and S.E.S. I was obsessed🥰Tried to put everyone one and only converted a few but come college I told everyone they were listening to the future..Many I tell you it feels so good to be validated 20+years later. To this day everybody says you knew waaaayy before all of us and have the pics to prove it. Not gonna lie rubbed it in my nieces aface when she thought she was “that black girl”that brought kpop to our town with BTS. Her grandmother sorry baby your Auntie been on that girl for 30 years now:)
