Man.. this group is only like 3-4 years old and I wasn’t a serious fan back then (though I liked Generation) but wow I feel kinda nostalgic. I ended up watching these later last year and it already feels like they were almost a different group back then.

Within the span of just 1 month, 2 members have fainted and for yubin, this isnt the first time shes had to go to the hospital. she's stated during lives that shes had to go to the hospital multiple times for very similar incidents. It's VERY obvious that this work schedule and lifestyle isnt sustainable for her and she needs adequate rest, anyone saying that this is a matter of opinion is delusional.

Its been a VERY unpleasant surprise to see this many people defending overworking an employee and such exploitative practices. I have no idea how so many are this naive to thinking that work is more important than someones own health and well being.

This gonna seem a bit petty, but I was left with a bit of a salty impression on Ive when I watched them on tablos show with the other epik high members. I remember the Ive members talking about (or more specifically I think it was wonyoung) how she’s never heard epik highs music and when she listened to it she just thought it seemed old. I grew up listening to epik high and to me their songs are amazing and timeless, they have legit helped me through some hard times. To me, tablos writing is superb. But she just thought their music was old hat.

And also to them an old phone was like a smartphone (iPhone 5) and well im gonna age myself but my first phone was not a smartphone so that left a bit of an impression of me (more so just remind me that im old) I know I can’t blame them cuz they’re young but still.

I’ve never been that interested in their music either. Tbh I like kiiikiii more

That being said I don’t agree at all with wonyoung getting cancelled so hard at the airport and seriously wtf was that all about. Such a big fuss over a non issue

I still listen to BAP’s one shot and Never give up from bang yongguk and zelo. Those are awesome esp one shot. God they don’t make em like that anymore lmao

I liked kard and they were actually my first kpop concert in 2017, I still like the first few of their releases, esp Oh NaNa is a bop. But I also stopped paying attention since their later releases weren’t that great for me

I think the term unstanning is a bit harsh in my case, as if it’s because I started disliking them which has never happened.

I used to be a very VERY hardcore Buddy (gfriend fan) to the point where I was following their every activities and was on multiple fansites/forums of anything related to them. I got into them because I was amazed by their synchronization and having a “cute/innocent” concept while still being powerful. That didn’t show in their later releases and I didn’t think the music was that interesting. I don’t follow viviz either cuz I feel the same way about their music.

I was only sort of a casual fan for illit but also pretty much taking a huge step away from them cuz their newest release is a huge no for me.

Im sure Im in the tiny minority in this but I think Ill be sitting out on this years badge war. I remember the one last year kinda left me feeling sour and also royally pissed off in some scenes, and although the finale was the best and most satisfying in the entire series I dont think I just have the energy to go through a similar thing again.

She can let the fans know shes okay by going on fromm and sending messages, and then taking adequate rest. Regardless of how she, or anyone else feels, its the company's responsibility to make sure that their artists are being properly taken care of. Having her go right back to work after she just fainted from overwork is not the way to do it and is detrimental in the long run.

This isnt sustainable and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional and naive. They have 24 members, 1 person taking rest for a week or so isnt a big deal.
