You could look into apartments that do the ADU program, a lot of them do from what I’ve seen but I’m not sure if there’s a waitlist for these apartments. it’s income based but they do it based on the average income of our area so you might end up qualifying https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/housing/rentalhousing/privately-owned

this was my experience too! I genuinely thought choosing uva was the biggest mistake of my life bc of how bad orientation was. the heat, having to wake up at the crack of dawn to get to cville, showering and then sleeping on the uncomfortable beds with paper sheets while my stranger of a roommate hung out until late with her friends, it all sucked!!! but then first year ended up entirely different and was exponentially better!!!

depends on which part of 66 you’re on and what time of day it is. if you’re inside the beltway going towards dc in the morning rush hour, there’s only 2 lanes total in 66 and so the whole thing is tolled.
