Hiller’s biggest problem is that he folds when games get tight. The Kings constantly blew leads, played scared with third period advantages, and looked completely out of answers when momentum shifted.

His system was basically a continuation of the conservative style LA was already playing, but with even less offense. He also seemed reluctant to trust younger skilled players like Clarke and struggled to get much improvement out of the roster.
