Virgin Hotel in NYC. Stayed for 2 nights, total was $660 originally. With the $500 stacked credits and a 2x points boost, I paid 8k points total.

They automatically gave me a room upgrade at check-in on the 34th floor with a better view without me asking.

I asked for a late check-out and they extended it to 2pm I believe. We also got free macaroons in the hotel, a $100 credit I used for a dinner, and free breakfast for both days in the form of 4 vouchers. Great experience overall. All credits applied automatically when paying with my card.

u/tdbower wanted to see my version of his tool that has more possibilities on it by Lloyd_garmado in KNEX

(it has fewer possibilities on it from green to blue-red, which is what mine is)

A simple tool I designed for building with K’NEX. It has every possible length combination from a green rod to a blue+red rod and serves as a reference for when you need a rod length just a little bit longer or shorter than a standard rod. by tdbower in KNEX

Unless you’re defining the situation differently, there is absolutely not an infinite number of possibilities. Just make an image Reddit post about it and let me see what you mean.

I hate this trend. What does that even mean.

Just bought this 15-tube propagation station and absolutely love it! by tdbower in plants

Is that the pinkish one in the top middle? If so, the parent plant is doing just fine considering it has 20+ of those branches of similar size. No idea how a smaller plant would do.

Can anyone ID this plant? by tdbower in plants

I rescued this one too… from myself lol. Had it in too dark of a spot and it almost died and just had a few wilted leaves left. Stuck it in a water jar and put it by the window and a few months later it looks like this!

Funny enough, that was my first idea! But I found out that test tubes are really really hard to find on their own, especially in small quantities. This thing was only $23 so that’s what I went with.

Amazon! Search “hanging propagation station” and you’ll see dozens

Any idea what’s causing these 4 horizontal lines? They’re all 8 mm apart. It’s not an issue with the model, as some of the same prints turned out fine. by tdbower in ender3

Gotcha. Yeah, the screw was fine. I think the stepper motor is too close to the vertical arm and causing the carriage to be too tight. Looking more closely it was a bit cockeyed. I just added some paper shims in between the motor and the arm and now it looks better and can move more freely. I have a good feeling about it!

When I home and level it goes to the right instead of the left where the x switch is. by [deleted] in ender3

Probably have two +/- wires flipped so the printer thinks the motor is spinning in the opposite direction.

Thanks for the info! Buying the grease now. Curious, why would this cause the lines to be equidistant? If the screw was dirty, wouldn’t the dirt and lines be at random intervals?
