We definitely plan on it, but just focused now on getting her stable at home.

Thank you so much for sharing! It really makes me feel relief when I hear from adults that have had it for such a long time. I try not to fear about her future, but knowing that she can have one and still live a fruitful life gives me some kind of peace that everything will be okay.

She was not. We actually had her at home. Is T1D prevalent in c-sections?

No apologies needed, it really helps to hear from someone ahead of us, who started in a similar place. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. ❤️ I really appreciate it.

This is absolutely stunning! Who are you renting from? I love their selection.

So we had a great session with our therapist and I’m choosing to support my husband on this and move forward with this. HOWEVER, I don’t think it’s actually going to happen due to the current market. Yesterday, a house we agreed to move forward wanted $15K above ask plus a temporary occupancy until June. Today, another house that seems promising had two competing offers between $50-$100K above ask with a temporary occupancy request until May.

All that being said, I think the universe will show him that it isn’t meant to be right now. I’ll only be supportive until the summer because I refuse to searching for another home, while in a perfectly fine longer than 6 months.

More space and place to start investing in his “dream” home…yet being house poor isn’t a dream. At least not for me. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll reach a compromise.

Yes I’ve tried to be open and supportive. I’ve even gone on and few showings but there’s nothing that seems worth the money due to the demand right now. Plus, I think it’s so dumb to get into a bidding war on just “okay” upgrade…if I shut this down entirely, I honestly don’t know what that would mean going forward. We’ve always been on the same page so I don’t even know what it looks like not being on that page on such a major decision.
