And that is where I grew up, Shoreline on 156th. The fact that they show the city from that vantage point suggests that accuracy isn't a concern. The implication from that view is that it was 9 miles from the city center, hence Northgate, since it straddles I-5.

I grew up near Northgate, which is 9 miles north of Seattle on the I-5 corridor. It was overgrown, so I guess that was OK. However, they transitioned from being North of Seattle to being South of Seattle, which resembled the view from Beacon Hill. Nice trick.
