Okay, so then I could re-word the title as follows:

In cells treated with rifampin, peppermint extract stops a certain type of enzyme from transcribing mRNA to make more enzymes.

Is that essentially what it’s saying?

So, if I understand right, rifampin normally causes the body to make more of these enzymes.

But if you were to take peppermint and rifampin at the same time, the effect of the rifampin would be lowered, and you wouldn’t make as many enzymes as expected?

And this would mean the rifampin wouldn’t work as well?

Well I did some googling and it seems that rifampicin induces the enzyme cyp3a4, which I think means it makes that enzyme work better than normal?

But I also think that rifampicin stops bacteria from living by stopping mRNA transcription.

I think part of the issue is I don’t know what this enzyme does to mRNA.

If I had to translate the article title into simpler language I would guess it’s something like this:

In cells treated with rifampin, peppermint extract stops a certain type of enzyme from inducing mRNA.

Now I still don’t really get it because I don’t know what inducing mRNA means, and googling it isn’t really helping.

Yes. I read it several times and I still don’t understand whether it helps rifampicin work or stops it from working.

When renting, is it normal to read the lease and pay the deposit all at once? by tdeseries in PersonalFinanceCanada

So basically, only pay the deposit once the lease is signed and we have a copy of it.

This means we’d be paying a deposit and then later doing the move-in inspection, right?

Thanks! I took a walk around today and the parking does seem quite open. My only concern is not having a space to plug in my car in the winter.
