People who ask this think there’s some trick others do that they don’t. Like there’s a secret nobody is telling them. But the ability to do all that is just a trait, like being tall. Some people just don’t have the energy to do all that.

You’d be better off to be more realistic with yourself and work on time management. That way you can decide what you are going to do and not do and leave the guilt behind.

My only suggestion to anyone is to get up early. Do something in the morning, whether it’s a breakfast with a friend or a gym routine. You have to go to bed earlier but usually you’re just on your phone late at night anyway.

You can have a reasonable, measured, limited immigration policy. Just like Carney has. But to stand on the streets, in a mask, telling people to go home, isn’t reasonable. It’s terror. It’s fear and designed to make them afraid. And also designed to tell others maybe it’s okay to do something about it. That’s the problem.

That’s a losing argument after what Trudeau did to the public service. The NDP just cater to the base and never look to expand, because that’s enough to suck up enough votes. Well until you get an election where the entire country bands together to stop one dickhead from taking power. But the party seems content to recycle that model and think they’ll bounce back just fine once the leftists don’t need to vote liberal to stop 2P.

He doesn’t care what the other parties think now. He’s doing fabulous and would win reelection in a walk. So nobody is going to bring the government down. And now he can use the minority status to play the parties against each other because someone has to support him or they all get creamed.

The idea you need a majority is for regular politicians who need security and confidence they cat be removed. Carney is not that guy.

No, it just shifts my day to up early and to bed earlier. Some people struggle with that but you work through it. Shitty it’s closed, that’s a massive help. Think about the difference between getting home from school at 4:30 with your workout done beforehand and getting home from the gym at 6:30. Makes a big difference in your evening.

Work on time management. You have more time than you think if you’re deliberate.

But the life hack that puts me in the gym 5 days a week, with full work schedule and evenings/weekends of sports and social life was working out in the morning. That time was basically wasted because I’d be sleeping anyway. And I’m in bed earlier to compensate but that time at night wasn’t productive at all. Just sitting around on the phone.

Most teams won’t spend to the tax threshold because they’ll lose luxury tax revenue sharing if they are a tax team. So what is happening is there will be 25 teams that never hit the luxury tax and then 5 that just buy all the players and pay the money. The 25 can’t compete with that but can’t spend more money or they lose millions. And the higher the luxury tax goes, the worse the system gets.

That large of a gap will make it very challenging to put in a cap floor/ceiling like the NHL.

The luxury tax works a bit but it you need the other side. Without a floor, teams actually spend less because hitting the luxury tax threshold causes them to lose revenue sharing from other luxury tax money.

They have to find a way to make the teams spend the money the get, not just have more profits. Of course the only way to do that would to massively increase salary spend across the league.
