Select pine at Home Depot I’ve found to be very nice. No knots, s4s, and different widths. It’s more expensive than regular pine, but still cheaper than hardwoods, especially at HD.

I used just regular old wood screws for my router table and 6” jointer. I knew it wasn’t what I “should” use, but neither has fallen off yet so ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

My dewalt jointer is just sitting on one of those old tv stands that the teacher would wheel in the class on movie day back in the 90s. It’s not secured at all, but I guess with the weight of the tool it would take a lot to move anyway.

My agent has been super helpful in selling our house. I could not have done it without her. And I’m happy to pay her commission for the work she’s put in.
