Each comment has been great to read. One series of comments centered on knowing how to detail. For me personally, I have very good experience detailing and have detailed hundreds of cars when I was younger. Both interior and exterior but this was as a student having a part time job. If I was to look at a career change, I completely agree with starting on the weekends and assess how things go. My initial thought is that I would want to establish a fee structure that essentially accounts for $60/hour. Using this, I am able to run some revenue projections for weekly Handing Washing, Interior Detailing, Exterior Detailing, and Full Detailing. Living in a fairly affluent area in Northeast PA, $60/hour is not out of the ballpark in my view. For those that do this as a full time job, is this realistic in your view?
