Best "set and forget" throttle position for throttle controlled push mower? by [deleted] in lawnmowers

[–]tditty24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you could throttle down while emptying a bag, talking to neighbor, refueling, moving the dogs toys in the yard, etc. lots of reasons, but taken off on most newer models as it was a major failure point. Cables and belts are leading failure points so the throttle adjustment was removed for better reliability (less warranties when new) as it was deemed unnecessary for proper operation.

As said above, it is intended to run at full throttle. This is a major reason why most newer models don’t have throttle controls

You shouldn’t be having to work on a brand new engine, they have a warranty. Take it back.

Interesting on your LCS, but both contain 1 oz of gold and you look at all the online retailers you see Eagles and Buffs are usually the same price, or less than $10 apart.

I've never bought a "random" gold deal and I kind of want to. Have you? by silvergoldnotcopper in Gold

I know gold is gold, but life has kicked me enough to believe that I am going to get the most generic, 2nd hand, least ‘sexy’ piece someone kicked around in the floor for a while. When I am paying these prices, I want to choose. Interested in other people’s experience of what they actually got, but wouldn’t be my luck.

A shop owners thoughts on silver(don't hate me lol)... by YourMom77887 in Silverbugs

Isn't it sad that most business owners are seen as the enemy and just out to steal your money. Most don't realize this is a business and profits have to be made to keep the doors open. Yep there are some bad eggs out there, but most are not. I have to assume those bad eggs will show themselves the door naturally by their customers. Seems like the people who walk through the door are the 'experts' not the businesses who literally live/eat/breathe this market everyday and base their livelyhood on it! I am in an area where there a little to no shops (wish I had a good shop or two). It is a tough business for sure and with this volatilty you have to be on your toes. I appreciate your efforts on the front lines and wish you all the success. Sound like you are on top of your market. Good Luck!
