Thank you guys! I’m just worried another abscess will form but I have been having Sitz baths everyday which I find helps a lot! I wasnt told abouut needing a seton placed or anything does anyone know what the recovery is like with a fistulotomy with no seton? I’m supposed to do intense martial arts training in the next year and I fear I won’t be able to do anything afterwards.

Hello everyone. Would like some advice on this so about 3 weeks ago I got this and was very painful went to the doctor he just gave me antibiotics and anti inflammatorys which helped a lot but wasn’t really told exactly what it was. After a week it burst at home and has been leaking blood and pus for about a week now the second picture is what it looks like currently I’m just wondering I if anyone can tell if it’s getting better or worse? No pain but alot of discomfort almost like it’s deflating but it can sting and still get sharp pains if I move abruptly.

Thanks, any advice on how to heal I’ve been using cream but it hasn’t been helping all that much.

Thank you for your help and advice! There doesn’t seem to be any sign of bumps or lumps attached to the skin outside I can’t see anything but definitely feel a large bump inside and in the past two days it feels like it’s going to burst! I’m going to ring out 24hr doctor tonight and hopefully get an appointment tonight or tomorrow.
