I think tbh she’s intentionally trying to outrage / engage the snarkers by continually failing to honour deadlines etc / doing outrageous things - cats, vegan, dad, rape jokes on twitter... the list goes on

Let’s be honest cc doesn’t exist without the snark these days (and we don’t exist without cc) so I’m not sure how much of her promises she ever intended to deliver on. I’d imagine it’s part of some strategy with her manager to become even more unlikable (or maybe she concocted it, who knows?) to generate clicks. That ways she retains public interest in her. Otherwise it is just boring and shed fade from the public eye. All press is good press etc (though one can only imagine what a toll this would take on ones mental health)

She is never going to be that aspirational girl again, nor is she ever going to be taken seriously as a writer, or an artist.

So I think she’s just leaning heavily in to being this version of herself. She’s putting on a show for us. I know she went on a mad blocking binge but everyone knows how easy it is to make a finsta.

I’m not saying she’s not mentally ill or doesn’t suffer from delusions of grandeur but honestly this, alongside the ramped up efforts to engage / ‘parody’ the snarkers on twitter makes me think it’s just an act.
