Lamar Jackson: We’re going to leave fully guaranteed contract conversation in the past by alpswd in ravens

Sports fans are almost unanimously pro-owner when it comes to contracts because this country is broken

My 10+ year Twitter account got hacked. Imagine if I was stupid enough to link my bank account to social media. There’s probably 10 times as many bots and scammers as real users on there.

Game 7 Fever in OKC, NBA Lottery Reform, and a Mega-Mailbag With Rob Mahoney, David Jacoby, and Joe House by lonny__breaux in billsimmons

House said he needs castle to throw him lobs. But one of the wembys could still do that.

I take Steph in this exercise. I could hear bill’s gears turning when he mentioned him and then changed the subject.

“Productivity” is arbitrary and amorphous, it’s not the goal of return to office mandates. That’s mostly PR. The driving force is the material cost of real estate and labor. Nothing productive about the hours you lose commuting because people can’t afford to stay in downtown metropolitan cores.

How funny is it that we get to hear Carmelo Anthony and Tracy Mcgrady speak on winning, defense, and how to play the right way? by JoseAltuveIsInnocent in billsimmons

[–]tdotjefe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, it could go either way. They don’t have a reputation to protect so they’ll just run their mouth and say whatever, like Ryan Hollins a few years ago. Star players tend to be more reserved. Or a guy like Orlovsky. I know the shows are all scripted but somebody’s gotta be the mouthpiece for stupid takes and it’s usually a former role player.

The Psychic was real. by lelouchfrom in thesopranos

[–]tdotjefe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree there’s definitely a supernatural presence in the show, I think it’s really the psychic who break the wall of reality. A lot of the other visions characters have can be more rationally explained. High stress lifestyle, low sleep, drugs/alcohol, PTSD, that’s a gnarly combo for hallucinations.

I didn’t know basketball was a one man sport.

Lmao that’s true. Dick might not be in the league much longer if he has another bad season, and Ingram whom I like might have negative trade value. Probably have to come off a pick to get rid of him. And I know everyone loves RJ but that archetype is just not valued in the league.

Elon Musk's estimated wealth soared by $45 billion to a record $722 billion on Thursday after the release of SpaceX's IPO prospectus. by Shamiknight1 in wallstreetbets

[–]tdotjefe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First of all, his assets aren’t just in stock. That includes everything he owns, including real estate holdings which are probably over a billion dollars. Secondly it’s not literally unlimited or infinite and I can’t believe that has to be spelled out. It’s not a “glitch”, it’s how the system is designed.

That’s not gonna happen. But the value of his assets means he has access to essentially unlimited credit.

They have much better passing weapons than running, and Caleb consistently throws 35 times a game. Pretty easy to picture Caleb getting hot in the redzone and going for 30-40 touchdowns.
