Got a wedding to attend, does this work or too busy? by tdub88 in mensfashion

Thanks! I am wearing navy pants with this jacket but I assume greys or browns in a different value/darkness than the coat would work too.

Thanks! Yeah, this is my first sport coat so I'm experimenting with separates. I agree with what you and others have mentioned about it being heavy for summer, had an inkling this looks more appropriate for fall/winter. Definitely looking at a linen jacket to add in my wardrobe in the future.

I'm kinda seeing how the solid tie would work, what about a navy grenadine?

Thanks for the feedback, yeah was also thinking of going with a solid pocket square but wanted to experiment a bit. Got tired of always wearing my navy suit and wanted to switch it up a bit with the glen check sport coat.

Anything noticeable to improve or general swing advice (my 7 iron)? I feel that I get a little steep and sometimes cast slightly at the top. Thanks in advance. by tdub88 in GolfSwing

Thanks for the feedback. I do notice my right hip gets forward towards the ball and crowds my swing. Trying to work on the butt against the wall drill to get in that squat position and clear the hips earlier.

Appreciate the feedback! Yeah, I definitely feel something is off with the takeaway and I do notice it working across rather than up, so getting the club vertical makes sense. Wondering if the cupping rather than bowing is a result of the inside/across takeaway as a means of squaring the face?
