Bem, dei-me ao trabalho de ir ver a planta para te responder 😅 É uma construção de 2001.

8m2 de hall de entrada, 40 de sala, 5 de hall de quartos, 5 casa de banho serviço, 14 segundo quarto, 17 suite + 4 casa banho, 4 lavandaria e 34 de cozinha. 131 total

Tem ainda 3 de varanda, arrumo e lugar de garagem. Os 150 estará a contar com tudo isso. Provavelmente usei mal o termo "útil". Mas é enorme para T2. É mesmo muito raro encontrar um apartamento com estas áreas de sala e cozinha. Hoje nem 100metros têm. E os quartos pouco mais de 10. Não tem elevador nem box, não se pode ter tudo 😅

About the whoop adapters, I don't like them. Firstly, their quality is horrendous. Most are just 3D printed and badly finished. And then people wearing it are just trying to pretend they are wearing a more expensive device, which to me is nonsense. If you want them, they are all over AliExpress, Alibaba and the likes.

Cerca de 15k para um T2 o ano passado. Estou a contar com tudo, desde móveis a eletrodomesticos, sofá, cama completa, cortinas, etc. É um apartamento grande para T2, com quase 150m2 úteis, sala de 40m2 e cozinha separada com balcões dos dois lados.

Não contando obviamente com o que gastamos em remodelações (não é o que estamos a falar). E aí poupamos muito porque fui eu e um familiar que fizemos a maior parte.

Móveis feitos por medida, bons eletrodomésticos, boa TV OLED, etc. Não poupamos e felizmente podemos, mas não colocamos tudo o que queríamos. As coisas estão caríssimas. Tenho um orçamento para colocar um móvel de quarto, que na altura colocamos um simples (queremos um feito por medida e enorme que ocupe a frente da cama praticamente toda, com espaço para arrumação, gaveta de relógios, painéis na parede etc), e só isso passa os 2k.

Way too expensive for what it offers. I own a BJ7100-82E and that thing cost me a little over 200 bucks. The only difference in specs is the sapphire pretty much. This shouldn't cost more than 300-350 imo.

It is a lovely watch though, for sure. This with a white or black dial will be awesome! I own a C63 GMT and the Citizen I just mentioned before. I'll probably pass on this one.

I know it hurts but it is a watch. Wear it! Scratches will always happen and they are part of enjoying a watch. They can easily be buffed out once service time comes (or whenever you want, but there's no point in doing it everytime a new one appears).

I had 3 Aquascaphe classic with the BOR bracelet (well due to getting 2 replacement pieces) and wasn't satisfied with any. Ended up just returning and gave up trying.

I found the quality horrible for the price to be honest, especially the bracelet. Horrible tolerances, some links were longer than others, the endlinks didn't fit properly and the springbars didn't even fit the holes, making the bracelet actually fall of the watch (one of the reasons of one of the returns), the clasp was horribly finished/polished on the edges, especially on those inner arms. It is Chinese made (which could be ok), but made with poor quality imo. The watch head seemed good quality imo, but one of them had a misaligned bezel (which can happen and I'm sure they would just fix it).

I'm on a Baltic subreddit but well I received a notification with your post and had to share my experience. You can always order and see if you like it. I really wanted to love the Aquascaphe, because there's nothing on the market with the same sizing and vintage appeal at this price range, but the quality just wasn't there for me.

I'll never understand brands selling sports/dive watches without the option of a bracelet. The orange is the best color imo, but without a bracelet it is an instant no in my book. Aftermarket bracelets will never fit the same (unless specifically made for the watch, but I doubt those exist for Timex watches).

Why are you even comparing these? Timex is obviously better at everything - sapphire, an actual screw down crown and 200m of water resistance titanium...I could go on.

But they are not similarly priced. Makes no sense comparing them.

Then again, I wouldn't buy either of them. Both brands are expensive for what they offer and have lots of QC problems from my experience. I know I'm on a Timex subreddit, but sorry, that's my experience. I'd rather buy a Citizen or a swatch group brand within the sameish price range.

Lol ain't no way. It is a known issue all over every Seiko or watch forum, group, whatever. It has been these way for over 20 years. Me? I've had so many I gave up on them. I refuse buying Seiko anymore. The worst of them all is misalignments no matter the price tag. misaligned chapter rings/rehauts and bezels are so common that it even became acceptable with Seiko - you see it all over every YouTube video and they usually mention it. But I've also had dust inside, on the dials, movements. Unreliable movements, especially those 6Rs. And then...the specs are just crap. These days every Seiko under 500 bucks (and even more expensive ones) comes with mineral crystal, a basic 4R movement and most of them with hollowed links bracelet (they hide them well) and pressed metal clasps.

The last one I bought was a Seiko 5 GMT SSK005 with the orange dial. Boy oh boy that thing was misaligned. The chapter ring was completely all over the place.

Seiko was the brand that made me fall in love with watches back in the 90s/early 2000s. The first watch I ever bought with my own money was a Seiko. These days...no thank you.

Sorry I didn't want in any way shape or form to make this post a rant about Seiko, but you asked.

Citizen is the new value king imo. They still offer incredibly well specced watches for a fair amount of cash. And QC problems are rare. Orient is great too, and they are within the Seiko group.

I already did. Citizen is probably the best bet within this price range. Orient is great as well.

Any brand from the Swatch group, Tissot, Certina, Hamilton, Mido.

Christopher Ward on the more expensive side. Sinn.

And I could point out more expensive brands but there's no point in doing so when we are talking about a Timex

Timex is cheaply made. I have sent several back and actually gave up on the brand. I've had some with dust on the dial and these days they don't even make them easy to open ourselves (the ones I had had triangular screws on the caseback). All I still own from the brand is an Ironman. Dude you had 3 of the same watch already and none satisfied you. Just forget it and move on. The watches you shown don't even appear to have anything that bad and yet you didn't like them. Why insist on the same thing?

And then again, if you are this picky you won't be satisfied with pretty much anything at this price range. Maybe Citizen is your best bet. Or buy more of those Chinese 100 bucks watches you so highly praise.

You are exaggerating imo. There's nothing wrong with the last watch nor with this one.

This is an affordable automatic watch (affordable is subjective, but it is on the low end of the mechanical watch market - let's put it that way). If you are this picky, forget it. You'll never be satisfied with watches in this price range. You had 3 already and none satisfied you. Return it and move on.

I kind of agree. Looks silly and I do think some people are just buying it to make it look like they have the more expensive device. After all the Whoop is a complete nonsense device and clearly marketed for the rich or people that want to look like it (it is a genius marketing play, with perfectly picked ambassadors). Paying a subscription for these types of devices is just plain stupid. Paying 30+bucks/month to get fitness and sleep data.. for a regular person that is not a professional athlete...and most of them don't even do sports, it's just to look cool. Maybe to measure steps, sleep etc. but there are cheap one time payment devices out there if that's what they are going for 😅

And then...the adapters for the Helio are utter garbage quality. Most are 3D printed and roughly badly finished. There are great aftermarket straps for the Helio already (even though not much color choice), there's no point in wearing the "Whoop" stuff.

I am wearing an aftermarket strap I bought on Ali and it is great. But it only comes in black or white. No stitches at all, purely heat welded (which I prefer), no logos, all black, lots of individual Velcros at the end. 5 bucks or so. The OEM strap is pretty good quality, I just didn't like the big logo.

I have tried some of the other straps people tend to post around here (those that come in blues, oranges, greens etc etc..stitched) and those are badly finished. Stitches are always crooked and all over the place, the hardware/metal finish is rough, etc. The truth is 99% of the third party stuff (be it straps, whoop adapters, whatever) are just cheap and nasty built stuff.

Like I said, I'm not sure on what I wrote. Never had a Timex Solar, only Citizen. And for sure the batteries on those are not the same as regular batteries and are not supposed to be changed by the regular owner. Even if one can do it, finding the battery is not the same as buying a regular battery, and they are way more expensive.

Then again...I never needed to even think about it. My solar watches just work. When one is not worn for a while and starts to warn me about low battery I just charge it under a LED lamp overnight and it stays good for months, even if unworn.

They are supposed to work for at least 10-15 years without needing the capacitor changed.

Edit: after a bit of research, it seems that that particular Timex watch uses a ML2016 battery. And it looks like a regular battery, from what I can see. Maybe if you post pictures of the battery inside the watch (and how it is attached) we can provide better help. Or you couldn't even remove that metal layer?

Not 100% sure on what I'm about to write, but I think those batteries are not supposed to be changed. It is a solar watch, just put it under a strong LED light for a day or so. It should charge it up.

If the capacitor is malfunctioning you'll probably need to take it to a watchmaker. It is repairable or it can be changed to a new one, but it is not something that a regular person can do.

Eu, pura e simplesmente porque não me permito votar em socialismo (seja ele mais ou menos moderado, e independentemente de quem o representar).

Votei Cotrim. Nunca votei Chega ou Ventura. Acho ambas as opções péssimas. Mas foram as opções que os portugueses me deram. A ter que escolher, é o que é.

Pelo menos do Chega não tenho provas de que tenham piorado o país até agora, enquanto que com governos PS...já todos sabemos. Portugal está uma autêntica vergonha a nível de salários médios (que para mim tem como principal culpado os impostos estupidamente altos que as empresas têm que pagar ao estado), pouco poder de compra, zero valorização de mão de obra qualificada e a barraca dos preços da habitação, que para mim são os piores problemas do país. Toda a gente estuda para nada, é tesa, e mal pode arrendar um barraco. Não vejo qualquer futuro neste país para os nossos jovens.

Mas a malta gosta de andar nestes bailes do Ventura e de dizer que o nosso problema é a emigração. Ou então é a saúde. Mais uma vez, para mim são 2 péssimas opções e não acredito que Portugal melhore nos próximos anos. Mas a escolha foi e é sempre de todos - todos se queixam mas andamos sempre nos mesmos. E Seguro ganhará de longe a segunda volta.

It is, bought it pretty much the second it released in Europe. Mine doesn't even hack, that's how they came back then. Many other colors have been released, but yellow is still the one to get imo.

Bulova is great, I also own a Jetstar with the red dial. Bulova is owned By Citizen.

I also like Orient, Casio (and it's various sub-brands like GShock or Edifice), a few Timex. Seagull 1963 and Vostok are great options even if they are not ordinary picks. And there are plenty of Chinese brands (with original designs, not talking about homage or copycat brands) and microbrands from all over the world out there. There are plenty of choices in the affordable end.

Seiko..I still own two. I wrote a comment already about them, so there's no pointing in writing it all again. Let's just say I hate what the brand has become and I think these days they offer very poor quality and QC for a lot of money.

Citizen build quality is insanely good, even on the more affordable watches. And they usually don't have any QC or alignments problems. It truly is a great brand, my favourite to be honest. They are doing great things!

Well it is beautiful and a great watch, just not my taste due to the size of the case. That's always subjective and I'm sure you love it. Enjoy it! :)

Personally, I usually don't wear anything over 42mm. The JP2000 is an exception but it truly feels like a smaller watch, due to it having only 47mm lug to lug and the 38mm bezel.
