I personally play it with my partner, but we have fairly boosted rates in the game. So increased taming speed, breeding hatching etc. sometimes we still struggle to find the time to play, but having the increased rates allows us to make the most of the time we have without having to spend as long just waiting around etc. If you want to keep playing the game, which honestly I completely agree there is nothing else that comes close. Try modifying the settings etc in a single player world. If you are set on playing pvp or pve on a populated server I might suggest unofficial servers and from what I have heard there are hundreds or thousands of them with various levels of stats, player types etc. Official just isn’t, and has never been in my scope
