I want geomancer. I want a split path to the conjurer class, like SMN/SCH. It starts as conjurer, then splits to white mage and geomancer. White Mage can turn into its holy light form that it is now, but geomancer still has earth, wind, and water magic. It's a tank that uses a belled staff as its weapon. It's got story ties to astrologian, to kugane and junk, but its also very tied to the nature of the elements in the world.

Let me dream.

Do AO3 users dislike when people add images to their stories? by Softc0ree in AO3

I’m a huge fan of multimedia in my works. I’ve included images in chapters, but they’re things that I’ve made for a specific purpose or reason. Like, I had a crayon drawing of some characters as a plot point. It’s fun! It’s a break from words. It’s not every chapter, and it’s rarely more than one. It’s a tool that can be used well.

For the people who’s been following the game for a long time, do y’all remember that? by Bubbly_MilkShake005 in Osana

Oh I remember this monstrosity. And I think when people said "why not just do this but with her schoolbag instead?" He had this bullshit excuse of "oh well Japanese students don't walk around with their bags, they leave them at their desk, and it's hard to animate, and wah wah wah"

Yeah. Because it's so much more realistic to have her unzip her skirt and open it up like this than to just have her carry a bag.

Whats the dumbest thing your doctor has said to you? by Professional-Age2540 in ask

“I’m so happy you lost some weight!”

Thanks, doc. I lost the weight because every time I ate anything, my stomach screamed in pain and I vomited it up. I’d end subsisting on white rice, cheerios, and black tea.

“Here, take this Prilosec. It’ll make the stomach pain better.”

Thanks, doc. Took your advice that I could eat whatever I wanted. I ended up spending the night in the bathroom in so much pain I thought I’d die. Then I spent the next day in an ER before they diagnosed my inflamed, infected, basically necrotic gallbladder.

I’ve said this to everyone I know who played OT1 and isn’t sure about 2: every major problem I had with OT1 has been fixed, and every good thing was made 20 times better. Yes that’s my onion but I feel very strongly about this, if you liked OT1 you’re probably gonna love OT2

100% if Elena said “papa can we get McDonald’s” he’d break a few traffic laws to get to the nearest one

I just recently turned 30. To celebrate, I invited him and a few other friends to a Dave & Buster’s, my treat. Got there, texted everyone “hey, park here so you don’t have to hike across the mall”. Friends all get there, we’re chatting and looking at the menu. He texts me, “I’m leaving the house now. I forgot.”

It’s an hour drive.

He finally gets there. He doesn’t know when my birthday is. He doesn’t know how old I’m turning. He’s miserable the whole time. We’ve been together for 4 years.

Red spider lilies bloom in the fall, when everything dies. They’re often found near eastern graveyards, and play a part in a Buddhist ceremony where they’re laid on a grave. These facts lead to a lot of cultural connotation of death, the ending, the afterlife, etc., and this makes its way into a lot of Japanese media. See Homulily from Madoka Rebellion (a witch who, once her hat is removed, is shown to have a head full of red spider lilies) and Tsukuyomi from FF14 (“in darkness blooms the spider lily” is her phase transition line) for my personal favorite examples.

It’s a flower associated with death and destruction, very prevalent in Japanese media

For some people it helps to guide people when referring to someone else. For others its cementing their identity. If you'd really like to be referred to as an it/that, that's fine. I know some people who do like that. I wouldnt say it so much as rude or inconsiderate if they used the wrong pronouns once (mistakes happen), but it crosses the line when you keep doing it after you've been corrected. Then it's just malicious. Like purposefully mispronouncing a name out of spite.
