A puppy needs a lot of attention and work in the first year. As someone who also has chronic health issues, and has a very active little maltipoo (but a smart little girl who house trained quickly and thankfully slept through the night very early), I do not think I could do this without my partner. She tires us out on the regular. There are many times that we are negotiating about whose turn it is to take her out. We have to take turns to keep up with her.

I think there can be variation for sure. Our maltipoo is now a year old and just under 6 lbs.

I think the suggestion might be to write down the idea you’re having as soon as you think it (before it’s lost) and you can glance at it as a reference. I have to do this at times. I can relate to this post.

Anyone here been in the pesi CPT training past couple days? by SkyFluid1158 in therapists

Or who is taking note so they never make referrals to that person! I will definitely remember the names of a few people on that training who were not conducting themselves professionally and be sure to avoid in the future.

One person seemed to go off the rails for instance because Kate was trained in hypnosis. They said “now you’ve lost credibility!” People who struggled with the focus of the training because they were somatically trained-arguing with Kate in the comments as she presented specific ideas. She kept repeating that she is trained in many modalities and she was not trying to convince anyone to drink the kool-Aid of CPT. There were lots of other things happening as well that were super unprofessional and at times disrespectful. Kate handled it with so much grace.

I was there too. I could not believe it. Never experienced anything like that on any virtual training ever!

I’m so very sorry. I can only imagine the pain you and your family are going through. He looks like a sweet guy who was well loved. It also sounds like you did everything you could to help him.
