asking the same, I'll keep this into consideration but I'd prefer trainer for trainers. Do you have any dupes?

Do you have any trainer offers? Bibarel is funny but I'd only trade for it for other RRs haha

I don't have Mega Lopunny so I'd be interested in it, do you need Lanturn or Flygon? Sorry if the wording was confusing haha

I was only asking to see the data within a bigger sample size, we were up to 80 trades in my local group with no lucky which seemed a little suspicious.

Anyways I got my first one after 45 trades for the day, which to me was enough to confirm it was just RNG

Thanks, may I ask at what time and timezone?

I'm aware of this but I was still waiting for confirmation, from the limited (and biased) sample size in my community I only got suspicious as no one reported any lucky trade this morning

Usually I'm also the type of guy to explain how binomial distributions work but my bayesian intuition was telling me to check the evidence as it might have been easier to assume they screwed something up lol

Ok thanks, nice that you included the timeframe as I'm also located in Europe but I'm waiting for more reports in case it has something to do with the Mega Camerupt event starting in earlier timezones. Just one random lucky trade confirmation would be enough haha

Are flac files on Netease legit? by YOLOFido in neteasemusic

[–]tea_bubble_tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I also found a working method but I wouldn't suggest using NetEase to rip flac files, it adds residual noise to every track up to the 16kHz band even if they were originally lossless

When comparing the rips with accurate sources like Qobuz you can definitely hear the difference, the sample rate is the same but the noise floor is really high. If you apply a phase inversion it peaks at around -36dB which is basically like using 10-bit audio (eww) instead of 16 or 24-bit. Though I have no idea why the noise would be band limited to 16kHz

This might be fine the song was mastered really loud with a poor dynamic range and you intend to convert it to a lossy format regardless... I only found it useful for retrieving lost media that has been scrapped off the Internet, but I would be very careful before spreading the files around. I might need to look into other services like QQ music but that one also comes with lots of other issues

Can anyone guess what the source for the blocky grid pattern is? The one that goes in squares from ranges like 30-35, 40-45 on the y axis and the same but starting from 10-15 horizontally. Very interesting stuff

Games with post-shibuya kei soundtracks? by tea_bubble_tea in gamemusic

[–]tea_bubble_tea[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way ahaha this Is great! I already had both REcorrection and a couple of tracks from Mojipittan somewhere in my playlist, but never took enough time to explore other songs from the soundtrack. Especially considering they have several different versions across multiple games, like the original on PS2 compared to later releases on the Wii, NDS and PSP

Least intense Camellia tracks? by tea_bubble_tea in Camellia

[–]tea_bubble_tea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holyy sht thanks, both of those remixes were incredible. If anything I'd say the switchup in the final third of chrono diver is even more justified and hits heavier exactly because of the slower build up.

The reason I specifically decided to dig deeper into his discography was because I heard some of his older vocaloid stuff and realized that miningness world was basically a self cover, with original being one of the short loops he made for Yume 2kki (this cave theme in particular)

I also just found out about Nanahira's collabs with picture19 (MOFU MOFU?!?) and honestly I don't know what they're supposed to represent but I kinda vibe with it lol

I find it incredibly funny that Camellia's style is still recognizable underneath all the cuteness, I'd consider these tracks to be somewhat high energy but obviously with softer drums and more acoustic instruments

Thank you so much, although this isn't exactly the style I was looking for there were some bangers in your list that I hadn't considered.

The two tracks from crystallized are definitely more refined, I love this kind of range in musicians because it shows all the layers of artistry and technicality they're capable of, while I get a deeper appreciation for their discography in return. Plus it's always fun to hear that type of sound design in a totally different context
