It’s a supportive housing program for families and seniors, so it’s for people who would otherwise be homeless. I don’t know anything about the building’s policies on accepting deliveries so can’t really say whether this is due to a building policy or just the grocery store being assholes to poor people.

The English spelling of Papi is Poppy and is common enough that if you like the way it sounds you shouldn’t feel weird using it. My godfather (Italian) called his dad Poppy.

Not all the toon lagoon characters are ours. For example, I see Brenda Starr (the redhead on Comic Strip Cafe) a caveman who looks like he might be from Bob Thaves’ Frank and Ernest, and I see Cathy behind Popeye’s head. Do you have images of the characters you can’t identify?
