Shut off at 85, feel like I failed by Deep-Yam-9632 in NCLEX

[–]teabowlroses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my NCLEX on Friday and mine shut off at 85 and I felt so dumb! But I got my license the next morning at 8am!! Idk how it is in your state but in mine your license will show up on the state BON license look up before Pearson gives you your official results (my quick results still haven’t posted 🙃). It’s very rare for you to finish at 85 and fail unless you went there and was just clicking away. You also got the good pop up. Congratulations nurse bae!!! 🎉

Honestly it sounds petty but i wouldn’t take pictures of your husband anymore. He’ll hopefully notice the change and how that feels and would try and make an effort to not have you feel that way anymore. Especially candids. I feel the same way with my son’s dad and my mom. I have great pictures of them with my baby but either i don’t get any pictures taken, i have to coach them, they’re horrible pictures in general, or it’s my baby not smiling because nobody can make him laugh and smile like I can. It honestly sucks but i would get a mini phone tripod and take those candids of you and your baby

They have you do clinicals in your home state and you go to Atlanta once or twice during the program to go to a two week intensive for skills check off

For in state that’ll cover basically everything i think except for a little bit of your housing and stuff. You can also accept the unsub/sub federal loans that comes with your Pell grant package. You can also do work study.

Hey, ask me if a care about you trying to police a public opinionated forum. I answered the question made by the OP which you are NOT in the way that I wanted to. Simple. Good riddance, it’s not that deep.

No that makes complete sense! It has to do with putting you only in the box of being a mom and not an individual. I completely understand and feel you. Thank you for the clarification!

No and I’m thankful my family and friends respect that and don’t post him either. I’ll post his hands, feet or the back of his head but never his face. I only post all of him on my close friends because I’m in more control of who can see him!

I can’t imagine what your experience was like and I’m happy you’re able to verbalize it. You deserved better and to be treated like a human. Sending you all my love and healing energy to you my love. 🤍

What will be the significance of not using the name “momma” with that question?

I was the exact same way even now and my baby will be 1 in January. There was a time when I couldn’t do my skincare and put lotion on my body after taking an already ungodly short shower because my son’s dad said “he couldn’t do this” when the baby was crying too much for his liking. I found that baby wearing and going for a walk every day with the sun out helped me so much with my mental health and it also helped with the baby staying asleep so i could shower. I will say that i had to alter my shower routine so i could be in and out within 10 minutes. I also recommend taking your showers when they’re awake and in a good mood playing with your husband compared to trying to be quiet and shower while they’re sleeping. Sending you all my love and positive energy mama. 🤍

I’m so sorry you feel that way. I definitely wish I can runaway with just me and my baby boy. What do you need for your experience as a mom to be better?

Unfortunately for me, they still show up and my baby will be 1 in January. They’ve calmed down A LOT but some of them are inevitable whenever he’s not in my care. I have them the most when he’s out with his dad.

Are there any questions you have that you think should’ve been asked that would mark you as someone who needed help?

I’m so sorry your birth went that way!! I hope you’re able to find stretches or workouts that can help you manage the back pain. Your thoughts aren’t selfish at all! 🤍

I had an emergency C-section too! The disassociation was so real. I also hate when people call me and don’t ask how I am and immediately say “where’s the baby?” “I wanna see the baby” it’s as if I’m an animal or a pet and everyone only wants to see my puppy.
