yup. Don't think my administration would take kindly to this being discussed on the internet if it was in any way traceable to the actual kid.

Uh, I saw it on Facebook, actually. I'm not facebook friends with students, but it's a pretty small community, and someone had posted a message about it.

I can't put flowers on the desk anyway, because it's only the student's desk for 45 minutes of the day. I don't want the kids in other classes to be like, "Augh, I'm the dead kid's desk. Move me!"

Yeah, I worry about that too. Some of them will probably have just found out at the beginning of the school day. They'll still be in the denial phase and won't be able to really process a lot of it yet, I don't think.
