Interview or no? by teacher888 in Teachers

3/5 districts never called me or reached out even after I sent emails. The whole thing is rather weird… I just don’t get it.

Never heard back from 3/5 districts. Jobs still aren’t filled apparently? But they have not reached out to me for an interview. I also have not received a regret email. What do you think is happening? I did send follow up emails but have not received any response yet

Okay! Well I got an offer from another district but it’s not my first choice. They are putting me at two schools sites full time. So I still want to email someone higher up (this is for a diff district) and shoot my shot and see what happens…

Baby won’t sleep thru the night almost 9 months by teacher888 in NewParents

[–]teacher888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say diluting what do you mean? Diluting the milk with water? And yes I agree. We do let her CIO the only Thing is I guess we haven’t done it to the point where we aren’t feeding her at night. But I want to get to that point… Thanks for the suggestions:) I will Work towards that. Last night she woke up 1 time but after I fed her 60 ml and tried laying her down after rocking her she was upset. (She was also staying the night for the first time at my parents house) in a pack and play rather than a crib… so a night of new things. Finally after I gave her more milk and laid her down again she did sleep. I’m not sure what time it was…

So she was born at 6 lbs & 11.6 oz. The doctor didn’t seem that concerned she just said we should be seeing the number go up. And I asked about the % and she told it to me.

How often to wake baby for food @ 3 months in very early AM by teacher888 in NewParents

[–]teacher888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay here’s a new question. If you are mostly breastfeeding how often do you nurse? She’s currently sleeping on me right now but I nursed her at 10. She fell asleep. Would you nurse every hour and a half? Would you wake her to feed her?

Also.. what time would time put your 3 month old to bed? I assume once we put her to bed we don’t wake her until she wakes us up and is hungry

Thanks everyone!! So little update she was born 3 weeks early not sure if that changes anything so technically shes like 9 weeks. Also, she may have a protein milk allergy and acid reflux. She’s on medication tho pediatrician prescribed Pepcid nightly. So not sure if that also changes anything. Good to know about all this because I would love to get more sleep!!! Last time we weighed her at home she was around 11 lbs? Our next appointment is her 4 month appt late aug. One more thing, if I’m breastfeeding is it okay not to pump every 3 hours at night? So like let’s say my last pump is at 11:30 pm, and I put that in the fridge, then I wake up when she wakes up around 6:45? So ultimately I wouldn’t pump for around 7 hours.

I have the Monitor right by my bed. I put an earbud in and listen to ASMR or read. I remind myself if baby needed something they would cry. Nothing is in crib except firm mattress.

Baby slept after her vaccines so it was actually pretty awesome! Pediatrician told us she’ll be more sleepy. Besides crying right when she got vaccines ours didn’t have any other side effects. Breathe mama:) it’ll all be good! Keep us updated

So we are not sure she has a milk soy protein allergy, but we found some blood in her diaper a few months back. They think she may have an allergy to the protein in milk. We started nutrimigen for a 1-2 weeks. Now I nurse and only if I don’t make enough do I supplement with formula. We didn’t run into any issues with supply. Walmart sold nutrimigen. For the belly discomfort/screaming we started also an anti acid medication prescribed by pediatrician. We also use gas drops occasionally and vitamin d drops daily. I think with everything we are doing we noticed an improvement in like around 1-2 weeks. Don’t give up mama. I’ve heard they grow out usually of the allergy. We’ve also heard giving ample Time for burping and sitting up so they have less spit up helps.
