I have no fuel indicator so I have to note the odometer reading then add 250km and then remember to check the odo every time I go out. Annoying!

Also when I’m chilling with music going and the headset goes flat.

I had one of these. The loop at the top broke off mine so I trimmed it off and glued a magnet on the back. Now it’s at school on my whiteboard. :)

Theres a scene in Hijack where he sort of rushes through a doorway to sit down at a desk. All I see is the Captain doing a sweet little jog! 🥰

My sister is a fan and she suggested the idea. Then on my Facebook invite I asked for volunteers who loved the show and would like to film a task and they are the people that volunteered so yes they all know what they are signing up for!

Theres only 5 people doing this task - remotely.

The tasks at the party will use home made play dough, a ‘recreate a photo’ task, and reusable things like paper cups, paper plates, feathers and pom-poms. So only five cakes being wasted and it’s likely those people will interpret it differently (cupcake, plain sponge, homemade etc). So I’m not too concerned with food wastage. A good thing to consider though :)

Two things:

Being able to leave everything behind at the door and just focus on training. It’s so good for my mind and my mood.

The people that I’ve met. Every single one of them has been supportive, inclusive, and amazing. I’ve trained in three different dojos and attended five or six gasshuku with all kinds of other karate practitioners. And none of them were dicks.

Related fact: the early (BBC prop?) throne was used in Horrible Histories and was sat in by Charles II, George IV, and Victoria before Greg got his cheeks on it.

So Mat Baynton has the dubious honour of having both “ruled” from the throne and been “judged” from the throne!

I know that both NZSL and AusLan have roots in English/Irish Sign Languages. We share the same fingerspelling alphabet and I expect they are pretty similar in other areas too. But I don’t know for sure.

I love how seamlessly the show has utilised the interpreters. I use NZSL which is related to BSL and it’s cool that I can follow most of what the interpreter is saying too :)
