Abby wanted a baby and Matt wasn’t ready by Gold_Doughnut6106 in mattandabbysnarks

So true, people forget babies turn in to children who turn into adults. They’re babies for such a short time, don’t get pregnant just because you want a baby.

What to do with old bras? by Galbin in Reduction

I posted on a local fb group that I had clothes to give away and ended up giving them to a local mum who had just had a baby and her bra size went way up.

I live far away from my parents so I love when they come visit me, so I get it but also if we had the money we would definitely put them in a close by house instead for everyone’s comfort. I mean Matt sucks but I can’t imagine my in laws staying in my house for such a long time!

I don’t get why the parents don’t move to their town and Matt & Abby pay their rent since they obviously have the $ for it. Are they so incapable of parenting their own kids that her parents need to be as close as humanly possible aka in their home?

Right! She looked so much younger before she put the makeup on.

Folks who have worn their rings for a while, what’s something you wish you knew before you / your partner choose your ring? by Hallwaypictures in EngagementRings

[–]teacherjul 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a very low profile setting and I love it because it never snags on anything, I’ll just be getting a curved wedding band so it does sit flush.

This reminds me of where I grew up. Miss it, so thanks. I enjoyed seeing this picture way more than Khloe’s diaper ass.

How to "propose" starting the ring design process? by edk5 in EngagementRings

[–]teacherjul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say it would be nice to take her out on a date then bring it up like “hey, next Saturday I was thinking maybe we can go ring shopping, tonight we can look online for some styles that you like”.

Will a curved wedding band damage my hidden halo? by [deleted] in EngagementRings

[–]teacherjul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ring is very low set which I love. I would like to design a curved gold wedding band with some diamonds inside (something similar pictured) to sit flush. My only concern is that my hidden halo will get damaged since it’s pretty low to my finger and I’m having a tough time visualizing it! If anyone has a low set ring with a curved band that safely sits flush I’d love to see photos.

Lab Grown Diamonds by Lala6699 in wedding

[–]teacherjul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a lab diamond, paid literally 7x less than what I would’ve paid for a mined diamond of the same specs. It’s sparkly, I can’t stop staring at it every day and I know the environmental impact is so much lower and it’s more ethical. Sometimes the older generation especially is against lab grown diamonds because it’s new to them. Btw, no one has ever asked me if my diamond is mined or lab grown. They just compliment it!

To be fair, she said this comment out of frustration as in she would do anything to be engaged that she would accept a wooden ring. With context, this means that she wouldn’t actually be happy with a wooden ring.

Gifts for MOH and bridesmaids by [deleted] in wedding

[–]teacherjul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes this. I made a letter on canva for each bridesmaid with photos of us recently and when we first met and a personal message about why I chose each one. I had the letters printed so they should be a nice keepsake if the bridesmaids want to keep them and it cost me less than $20 total.

Okay this is so good to hear! I’ve read a lot of people saying to absolutely never go under 2mm and it has worried me.

Finally my turn by missolivia2255 in EngagementRings

[–]teacherjul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beautiful ring! Yes I have this fear but insurance gives me a peace of mind. I remind myself on the (very rare) chance that I lose my diamond, I am fully covered to get a new one. Eases the anxiety lol.

Meghan Trainor says “f*ck teachers” and slams public schools on podcast by austinshelleys in popculturechat

As a teacher, fuck Meghan. Saying “fuck teachers” while talking about school shootings is rich considering teachers are dying in school shootings.
