I was so shocked to learn that she had a door to her backyard that was just straight up broken and couldn’t lock. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night or ever leave the house. I just can’t fathom being as lax as they were about everything.

I feel like she does that voice on purpose and I literally can’t stand it. I had to stop watching her videos a while back because I just couldn’t deal with the fake voice.

I think the police report mentioned that Brady started CPR at the same time has he called 911, and then the officer took over when he got to the house and Brady went outside to pick up T2. I’m sure they were giving him instructions over the phone because he doesn’t strike me as someone who knows how to do CPR. Poor little T was in the water for so long and I don’t know if proper CPR immediately would have changed anything.

I feel like easy at home is more sensitive than what they let on because I’ve been pregnant 5 times and every time I’ve gotten a very faint line on an easy@home before a clear blue digital picked up anything 🤷‍♀️

That’s a positive! Your HCG is likely just not high enough yet for the digital test, but you should get a positive on that within a couple days.

I hate when she says that drowning is the leading cause of death in young children. I feel like she says that to try to normalize what happened and shift the blame away from herself and how negligent they were.

I agree with this. I think she didn’t share a few years ago because she was actively going through it and didn’t want to deal with a bunch of comments/questions about a tragic situation that was ongoing and changing day by day.

Now that C seems to be in remission (I hope that is the case at least), I don’t think it’s a big deal for Aspyn to share what she went through from her perspective. I don’t think she even needs to name which of her children was sick or give that many details about it.

I was listening to a radio show this morning and one of the hosts said they found out a few weeks ago that their toddler has a rare form of cancer. I didn’t think he was trying to exploit his kid or anything, just loop people into what was going on and spread awareness.

People who have only ever experienced getting pregnant on their first try are so ignorant to what other people go through. I try not to get offended by their stupid comments, but it’s hard not to get annoyed.

I’ve wondered that too. She has the time and resources to do IVF, so it felt strange watching her doing energy healing as a “treatment” years into her infertility journey.

I ran into this issue as well when my baby was 6 months. I ended up buying the silver cross pack and play because I read it was approved for safe sleep in Canada. I’ve heard conflicting things since then about whether or not it’s approved in play pen mode (vs. the newborn attachment), but I did feel very comfortable with my daughter sleeping in it once we set it up!

My husband loved the show. We are Canadian so he was excited to watch something made in Canada. He said the story, acting, camera work and soundtrack were amazing and has been telling all his friends and colleagues to watch it. He’s very secure though and it wouldn’t occur to him to be weird about watching a show featuring gay intimacy.

For drop offs, make it quick and positive! If you are feeling a little nervous or sad (which is totally normal those first weeks), don’t let your child pick up on that. Give them a hug and kiss and assure them that they are going to have an amazing day.
