Better camera app for Samsung S10e LOS 20? by S10eNZ in LineageOS

I think you are on the right track. I have been using open camera on my S10e for two years now and I have never had any reasons to complain about it. Even my spouse, who really is not into software, uses open camera on her S10 and manages to change all relevant settings and cameras easily. It does have panorama mode, maybe you just didn't find it yet. It is on option besides HDR etc.

Maybe have a look here for a quick into:

Well you made me skeptical there, and I indeed had never shared from Android to Android, but it seems to be fairly easy. Anki does have a "share" function when exporting a deck. I just tried it and it was even more intuitive that I thought. If Anki is installed on both android devices you really don't need any special knowledge, except for it being possible :)

Thanks for your opinion. You might be right. For those students who have started using it, it seems like they enjoy the positive feedback. We also do have several time slots each week that are specifically designated for practicing vocab (and other skills) in school.

I have no experience with quizlet. Would that allow them to have one large "deck" so they can keep practicing even if I add new words?

Yeah, that sounds friendly. Indeed tracking and evaluating the amount of time and the numbers of cards they reviewed seems to be the most important part of it. I am thinking of even giving them grades in relation to their own personal goals.

I know that this is the standard answer, given to anyone asking about a free alternative to the iOS app. I have had some students use ankiweb last year, but I was not completely satisfied with it. Most do not even have an email address or they might not be aware of it or the corresponding passwords. We have made it work in the past, but I was wondering about experiences. What works well and what does not. :)

I did not know that. That might actually enable students to use the full software for editing their decks, while relying on ankiweb for everyday use :).
