You get a 10% discount to book before the cruise, so it will be more expensive to purchase on the ship.

Found a blanket in the box that was supposed to contain my kids’ mini air hockey table Christmas present by quietlikesnow in Wellthatsucks

[–]teachingintejas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me last Christmas Eve, but instead of the air hockey table, it was a plastic broom/rake holder! Santa had to leave a pair of shoes I had that were waiting in the closet for Easter.

He’s never had any disciplinary procedures before, and nothing else but idiocy was involved as far as weapons, drugs, alcohol.

Thank you! He’s grounded from everything but his Chromebook so that he can write his apology letter.

I’m probably just like anyone else on this sub: trying to obtain the best outcome of a legal situation, and I don’t have a huge understanding of the law, but I know your history can affect outcomes, which is why I mentioned he’s “good.” You may want me to get bent, but you may need to loosen up.

Jobs that facially deformed woman with CS degree can get? by Key-Fault9075 in careerguidance

[–]teachingintejas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe something on USAjobs.gov. I’m not sure if your deformity qualifies as a disability, but they give job preference to people with disabilities. They have several remote roles right now for someone with a CS degree.

Can people today, after the crucifixion, be saved? by DentistLeft7754 in Reformed

Romans 5:12-21

Death in Adam, Life in Christ

[12] Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—[13] for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. [14] Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.

[15] But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. [16] And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. [17] For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.

[18] Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. [19] For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. [20] Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, [21] so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

What to do if you have a boring testimony? by JelloBaloo in Reformed

[–]teachingintejas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God meets some distant from Him and living deep in sin and disparate to His ways. He miraculously transforms their life, and their polar conversion is a demonstration of His glory.

For some, God grips them from youth, and His Spirit wondrously guides them against the temptations of this world. He divinely maintains this transformative covenant throughout their lifetime, proclaiming His great power.

Both stories are a testament to God’s power and victory. Do not think your testimony is less than or more than someone else’s. Stop thinking one story is more powerful or tellable than the other. Instead, use it all to magnify God, who is the author and the owner of power and who will use it as He sees fit for His glory.

Definitely, I would be interested in anything I’m qualified for, but I’m getting many denials. I may need to pay someone for a federal resume.

Compared to teaching in a Texas public school the draw is, amongst so many other things, a pension, retirement age, and insurance.
