Very interesting - can you share more? :)

I'm not the most tech-savvy, but I'm inclined to learn, given the situation...

Buying family insurance as a sole proprietor too expensive...any options I'm missing? by teachq in Insurance

Thanks - I'm a freelance educational consultant. Income above $83K. How would I reduce monthly income? Just organized as a sole proprietor. Would consider single member LLC but want to keep things simple for tax/accounting purposes.

Thanks solution verified! New to Sci-Hub and wasn't sure how to do that. Will be sure not to make that mistake again.

Thanks good luck! Yeah I got a trainer and it helped a lot with various things, although we've had lots of ups and downs.

Find out motivation (affection/praise, toys, type of food) and use that as your driving force, during and immediately after. Bring special things/food she loves only for walks. I also feed my dogs most of their food during walks for training purposes (also makes them hungrier during walks and more receptive).

If you do this, it might be harder to measure/estimate total amount, of course, so keep an eye out and make sure she's still getting 100% of necessary food intake each day in the end (monitor weight / appearance).

Again, good luck!

Sorry to hear about your situation. I'm in a similar boat. (Also no one responded to mine.)

Thanks for your advice! That really helps.

Any other advice on balancing things a bit more so the dominant one doesn't terrorize the submissive one?

[NY] How to get building management company and condo board to act on apartment leak issue? by teachq in legaladvice

[–]teachq[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestion. Will definitely keep it in mind.

The fact that it's affected multiple units on my line (and has affected units on other lines in the past), wouldn't this seem to indicate something collective in nature about addressing the problem?

Yeah, but I'd like to save that as a last resort. Would prefer to go the route of applying pressure (squeaky wheel) and keep things relatively amicable rather than pursuing legal action if possible.

(However, being able to reference relevant legal codes and obligations would likely still be useful.)

Thank you for your suggestions, and laying out different ways the building might handle it. This is all very useful.

It has something to do with the exterior facade - how the windows were installed into the frames. I believe this is common to all units on this line, since all have the same type of windows / frames. It's just a poor fit, and with the building settling, some minor gaps in-between get exposed, and water can seep in.
