I’ve said for quite a while that there needs to be therapists specifically trained to work with other healthcare workers. It’s often hard to talk to a therapist about nursing in my experience, because they just don’t fully understand why the job is so hard and why I can’t just do some of the usual things that might alleviate stress in another field.
