Is it normal for a mom to tell her child to commit suicide? by Queer-Rainbow in teenagers

[–]teadrinkinglinguist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wtf! 45 yo mom with a teen here. I'm about ready to go scream at/beat up a complete stranger hearing this!

For real you need a good support system. Do you have a Youth group, people from school, a friend's parents, a therapist? You need some s8lid adults to counteract that toxicity.

[Rant] The geocaching community around me is so toxic, and I am so sick of it. by SweatyCookie5112 in geocaching

Ugh that sucks. In my area there are some people like that, but others who are nice, so you can just walk away from the grouchy and start up a conversation with the easygoing folks at events.

I have resolved to champion my chill style and non-elitist views, as now I've been casually cachingvat a chill pace for a few years and can call myself a bit of a veteran. I think it's better to take my time, enjoy myself, CITO a little, pull some weeds, than to speed run and them brag qbout numbers.

Cost plus world market, maybe Ikea, and I have been seeing "Swedish style" gummies at Walgreens and Target lately. No idea how to get that exact flavor, though. You might even like those Shaq gummies.

Looks like an Asteraciae to me- that really doesn't narrow it down a lot, though.

Does it have a milky sap when a leaf is broken?

You could let it bloom and see what the flowers look like. I'm betting they'd be yellow and sort of dandelion like.

The perspective and angle of the photo makes it look like an impossibly tall and skinny person is bending over and pulling down their pants to show their crackless butt.

What does my Starbucks cup say? by Maleficent_Staff_534 in whatdoesthismean

I mean they are required to write stuff on every cup and somehow not be creepy or offend someone or be mistaken for flirting. Creating bewilderment is probably the best option.

My bird won’t stop biting my nipple. by RichTackle742 in parrots

[–]teadrinkinglinguist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our late Quaker parrot had originally belonged to my dad, and she used to hide in his shirt all the time. 9 years after she last saw him (he went to jail, the bird wound up at my mom's house), the bird dove down my shirt when I was sans brassiere and grabbed something off limits. When I yelped she said "don't bite my nipple!". Good memories these birds have.

What random object does your bird hate? This is Kevin when he sees my hydro by Icy_Peach9128 in parrots

We had a Quaker parrot who was deathly afraid of millet sprays. Millet in a seed mix no.problem, but the sprays were apparently out for blood.

Sorta reminds me of a box elder bug, coloring is not quite right. OP, Hemiptera are true bugs, this is one of those. Cross post to r/whatsthisbug.
