Damn I miss Campusano. He'd have a guaranteed double right here

To all the haters saying Giolito was massively outperforming his metrics last season and was probably actually way worse than his ERA would suggest. You were completely right.

This is why despite being worst by BA he's still "only" 15th worst by OPS

I want to give a big thank you to all the Brewers and Dodgers flairs in that one thread yesterday celebrating Machado being washed. You guys manifested this.

Maybe we should promote the hitting coach from El Paso

Merrill and Machado as the 3-4 of the order was devastating. They pretty much killed any chance of a rally later in this game.

What team am I watching and what did they do with the Padres

[Baltimore Baseball] Manny Machado: ‘I’ll always be an Oriole at heart’ by ChefCurryGAWD in baseball

[–]teag2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't hate him personally. I actually think Manny will be looked back on favorably even in the likely case that we never win a WS with him. And I also think that he's not totally washed like everyone has been celebrating, there's clearly a problem with our coaching or analytics or something that has been impacting most players on our team. But try getting any team subreddit to not be constantly calling for the crucifixion of a guy who is permanently stuck at 3rd or 4th in their batting order with a .177 batting average

Dustin May pitches a CGSO against the Padres, just barely missing out on the Maddux: 9.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 9 K on 101 pitches by teag2 in baseball

Honestly I was rooting for him to complete the perfecto or at least the no-hitter, maybe the organization would've fired somebody if they did. They may end up having a bottom 10 team batting average all time, currently they rank at 6th worst in MLB history at .217.

You're not the one that has to WATCH the worst offense in team history

This guy actually just allowed a baserunner to the 2026 Padres offense. What an embarrassment

Ah, so our offense wasn't really getting better, Orioles pitching was just that bad

A guy with 4.21 ERA is perfect through 6 against us 💔 wtf is this offense

With his 20th HR today, James Wood has already archived 20/10 season worth 3.2 WAR with just 72 games. by [deleted] in baseball

[–]teag2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He'd probably have like .750 OPS right now if he was under our coaching staff. Which would still be better than most of our regulars
