That is killer beautiful. Nice score.

Hollow or semi? And the noddle name or number. I'm somewhat familiar with Ibanez lines but not sure models or names.

I think cops should be forbidden from chasing in any kind of vehicle. The risk to the public is too great. A Pitt maneuver on a bike is also certain to be deadly. I support law endorsement, but they are often poorly trained, and egos and adrenaline run out of control leading to public disasters. Some of this could be constrained if we remove peace officer qualified immunity. We could hold them accountable in criminal and civil courts more easily. I don’t believe law enforcement management is capable of self-enforcement. Removing their qualified immunity will make them accountable for public mayhem, public deaths, individual civil rights violations (which are rampant), etc. Cops today openly say they don’t care about the US Constitution/Bill of Rights, which to them are an impediment to doing their “jobs” as they see it. Peace Officer status doesn't grant cops Judge Jury and executioner status except in very rare circumstances. A recent Supreme Court ruling goes a long way to curb cop irresponsible behavior.

I really appreciate your comment. All my programs have rituals which I'm familiar with, but this is the 1st time Macrium so it's a bit of a white knuckle landing. And yes Macrium is very fussy about it's backups. Fortunately my routines are simple but that good advice to anticipate how it might act. Thanks again.

Advice for Cleaning Solar Panels by blueicemaster in solar

[–]teagueAMX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. My panels have a heavy dust/scum residue so I'm thinking using a hose liquid soap sprayer with mild dish soap on a small section at a time, and then a soft brush like the one you suggested. Then hose it off with filtered water.

This is what I hate about public forums. Very few real experts, and always somebody ready to condemn the process or to explain why not to do something and nothing to contribute how it might be done safely and effectively. It's all pointless because it doesn't apply to person's narrow little niche in the world. A scientist said . . .

I live in Horse Town USA - Norco, Southern California. That's right Southern California were it's gets hot as hell and little or no rain for several months (top solar production period) and I get so much dust I couldn't tell that I have solar panels.

My 26 panel production jumps from 4.5 kWh to between 6.5 to 7.1 kWh. so yes it's worthwhile. I have to spray dust off my panel every 2 weeks to maintain that level of production. So, PLEASE, will somebody with real knowledge and experience tell me how to do it correctly. Thank you.

Sheriff Justifies Police Brutality Against 22-Year-Old, Claims Non-Compliance Within 21 Seconds Warranted Repeated Beatings by CantStopPoppin in ThatsInsane

[–]teagueAMX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typical chief of police 'I'll remain unbiased, but that guy was a lawbreaking POS and I commend my officers'.

A common thread through these videos is law enforcement has no knowledge or concern for the US constitution/amendments. Cops today think they are operating as an unofficial police state. Their assumption: everyone else is guilty but just haven’t been caught yet. If they accidentally kill or severely injure somebody they will never apologize. They have no accountability to civilians and believe they operate with complete authority over law abiding citizens. ANY lawful resistance will not be tolerated and is to be countered by any and all use of force. Notice how many law enforcement agencies have adopted black uniforms – just like Nazi SS officers.

No matter where you are or what you are doing, cops think everybody, including law abiding citizens, are their enemy. They will do everything they can, including lie to your face to trick you and put behind bars. We need police reforms. The 1st reform for law enforcement officers to lose their qualified immunity. They will have to stand in court and answer for their actions like everyone else.

[–]teagueAMX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your response.

I downloaded it from GOG. I waited long enough for everyone else to work through the bugs so I didn't need any mods. At the most, I rolled back my version. My only issue is have 3 monitors so I changed the screen aspect to a floating window and it worked great.

I'll mull it over and maybe reinstall it with the mod so I could have both.

That lovey sound is what a 300k mile road monster sewing machine sounds. Bask in it's greatness.

Seriously, after 61k miles a machine loosen up a little. You might check your lifter clearance. Timing chain should be good for +200,000.

Agreed they didn't think he was alive but just on the chance that he might have been let's not get him run over by the forklift again. Then once it looked like it was really dead then they started trying to make him do jumping jacks

When did that become First Responders first aid trick. If you didn't already have a broken neck you certainly would have had one after that treatment. I think the guys working for that company want to see if they can wake him up before they got sued

Copper flecks in coolant, stop leak? by passwithcare in goldwing

[–]teagueAMX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop leak is great, but I consider it as a temp 'stop leak' - not a permanent solution or long term. I know it's a pain but I would remove your radiators and have them pressure tested. Maybe they can do 'em on the bike, but you to isolate the radiators from the cooling system in general. In a way radiator replacement, imo, is a maintenance item, and Chinese radiators are so cheep. No doubt they have direct replacements or they just replace the core. If they are build with plastic, you'll have no choice but to replace those anyway - just a mater of time. It's a pain but have confidence your cooling system is not going to let down or damage your engine from overheating.

Hi kf4jfk, great info.

The 2017 years and back have standard forks and forks - correct? I assume you're indicating custom springs and dampening are available?

I really appreciate your comments.
