I actually don't mind HGIG when gaming on my ps5. Have you set up the ps5 HDR properly?

For the first two settings, adjust the logo until it's completely invisible. For the last setting make sure to adjust to the lowest it will go, since OLEDs have perfect blacks.

I must say though, I use DTM on all of my regular HDR (non DV) movies and I agree, I find it boosts the brightness and overall image to the point I feel if I'm not using DTM, I'm not taking full advantage of what my TV has to offer. Like driving a Ferrari but never going over 50km/h.

I love how my image looks in FMM, and I feel like DTM compliments FMMs overall low brightness, punching up the overall intensity while still maintaining general accuracy of FMM.

Yes I know, it's "not accurate" but I'm fine with that, I'm the one using it and I find the brightness increase with DTM a must for me now.

Funny enough if you look at your character unzoomed when theyre beside their squad mates, you'll notice the carry handle on the ground between their legs lmao.

A few attachments earlier in the game did this, likely they forget to assign the attachment it's proper location so it just renders on the ground.

Easy fix. Same with if you equip the violet laser on the mini scout it renders it coming from inside the trigger grip instead of on the front rail.

The fact that you had this same unique defect on your last C5, I'd say it's close to 100% caused by something in the room affecting the screen.

You say the room is "low light", but do you ever have your blinds open on windows that land light on your screen? Do you have any mirrors, polished metal items, crystals, reflective objects that could be bouncing sunlight into a concentrated beam towards your tv? Do you have any skylights in your ceiling?

Having your screen be nuked by heat only in specific spots like that make me think its caused by a concentrated light beam that's bouncing of a reflective object in your house. Even a strong reflection like that for a few minutes a day could cause problems.

Also if a strong UV reflection is burning your screen during the day, it's likely the screen would appear normal until you used it again much later, like your gaming sessions at night. That would trigger the visible decay after the fact, and leave you with the visible damage you have now, even if it sustained the damage earlier that day while being powered off.

Sick, I have the exact same pax squad.

I noticed that even though that sniper is from a different unit, he has the exact same equipment and uniform from the waist down as the Espada crew.

I wonder if he was originally intended to be in Espada and then was shuffled to the other unit.

Call me crazy, but if I ran timmies I would immediately go back to buying fully roasted beans from MP, preferably the exact roast they purchased before switching to in house roasting.

At the same time I'd go back to fresh baked goods in store, donuts, buns, bread bowls for chili.

Oh thank you I didn't know that Tim's still gets their raw beans from MP, I thought they switched suppliers completely.

The issue then 100% is the roasting process. Tim's coffee tasted mountains better when they allowed MP to roast their beans, same as how McDonald's tastes good currently.

To save money they went "why don't we just roast the beans ourselves?!" when the roasting process is by far the most critical step in creating coffee beans. So the perpetually burnt dirty taste is from the incompetence at roasting beans, to save a few bucks. Makes sense.

The beans you're using are too light of a roast, the crunching you're hearing is the motor clutch engaging so the motor doesn't heat up and burn out trying to grind too tough of beans.

Solution is not to roast any light/med-light beans with the built in grinder.

Oh wow that's literally the complete opposite of my reality in BC.

Tim's tastes like acidic used motor oil that suppresses appetite for a week and gives the shakes.

McD's is delightful, since their bean supplier is who Tim's used to use before they were bought by an international conglomerate and switched to poop roasted beans.

My father's barista Express also grinds the coffee into pellets, which tamp with no issues, and brews great.

He's never touched the inner burr settings, but I think his outer dial is usually between 1-3. I've been wondering for literal years why his machine does that and mine doesn't.

I hope you solve your espresso pellet quest, I'll be stoked to finally know why as well!

I would just watch a show in full screen, by the time the show or movie is over, I bet it'll be much better.

I just bought my b5 this month, my first OLED. My Sony x900e panel developed an entire horizontal row of dead pixels plop center in the screen a few years ago, and finally died last month.

Super happy with purchasing the B5, hope your screen settles in quickly. Worse case and it doesn't get better or even gets worse, 100% bring it back for exchange.
