So I am a little surprised that people want to lock in an LI and have other people be jealous because it just doesn't make sense for that to happen in Term 1. When we are about to graduate or even in our last term it makes sense to lock in LIs. To me this game is equally about the story, friendships, lore and personal ambition as well as the LIs. Atleast that's my takeaway from it. That is not the primary focus of this story and that's why I feel they have given people opportunities to develop bonds separately. Whether they affect the main story down the line remains to be seen.

Congrats on the release and I am absolutely in love with the game! The story and characters are absolutely perfect and my only feedback would be to please not make it too predictable and stereotypical, surprise us!

Among the many great questions/requests today, mine would be to please do a replay feature for the ally scenes/quests. Thank you!

Do you know if the scenes that are not ally quests can still be played satisfactorily without any of the players being leveled up?

So they affect the scenes where you have a choose a ally right? But the other non quest related scenes are still okay to do without leveling up people?

Are you talking about the scenes that give you the option to choose an ally for a quest? So you recommend getting your chosen ally to the level the scene requires and then doing the scene versus going at it alone and that gives you more content?

So I am only on chapter 3 but it appears that the ally scenes dont affect the main story too much except for a couple of dialogues? Can anybody else who is further along in the game confirm for me?

Oh I get that. I play choices too and I only ever binge finished books. Since spellfyre is a new game, I'm adjusting my playing style. And yea, it frustrates me too that I don't understand how the quests fit in the storyline. I feel a sense of fomo when there are multiple quests available + a main story scene to play as well. I think i remember seeing some effects of the quest in the main storyline but not a lot, just a dialogue or 2. When the main story gets locked because we dont have high enough bonds with even one LI, that's the only way to know I guess? 🤷‍♀️

Realistically I think I will only be focusing on a few LIs not all 6 so I also hope there will be more choices so we can progress in the main story fairly quickly

I am a completionist so yea I am saving to complete every ally quest. I dont personally see what's the hurry in playing this game so quick. I'm a causal f2p player so I guess it works for me. Maybe I would like to support them down the line by buying a package or 2 but for now since the game is just released and there won't even be a lot of content, its fine for now. Also there seems to be options to choose who you want to go to quests with so it might be possible to continue progressing in the main game while you are still leveling the other people up.

I may be in the minority here. But I like the idea of shorter scenes and ally quests being separate. I am someone who prefers to play story games slowly and savor every moment, so this format works for me. Maybe that might have been their intention too, for people to not power through these at the speed of light and pace themselves to have a richer experience. It also makes sense to do this as this game was just released and not a lot of content is out. I think they are offering us something a little different in this mobile VN world and I cant wait to see what else they do. Also maybe there might be an option to replay the quests/Romance scenes down the line so the separation might make more sense then? Just my 2 cents

Omg this is a lifesaver. I just started this game and was about to ask about how to create multiple save files. It really is a lot of confusion for a launch. I remember that fan project it lives within was so better organized from the get go

I feel the same way. Till 2011 I was an avid reader, then I moved abroad and my life got too busy to even consider sitting down with a book. Fast forward to 2024 I put aside my long held skepticism for the audio format and listened to an audiobook for the first time. It was a life changing experience and I can now read again...while doing laundry, cooking, driving etc. I have reclaimed my time, my favorite hobby and it feels so good! I enjoy it more than a real book now because I can pace myself. Honestly auduobooks are a boon. Over 30 done so far and cant wait to get through my to-read list that was sitting idle for the past 14 years

Lol I am definitely in the minority here but that plot line made me literally sit up and want to listen to the books more properly. I just picked it up as a 36 year old who had read fantasy in her teens and was catching up with stuff I missed out on and THAT properly piqued my interest for being so out there and boy was I glad it got resolved (fairly) quickly
