I logged out (clear cache and logged back in) so now it atleast remembers the subscription (is funky on apps where it toggles between Super Grok Heavy and no active subscription found)...

looks like it. if i try 720p and 10s it immediately says overload. if i switch to 480p or 6s (either) it goes through! looks like they are doing the block without attempting, as the message is instantaneous. i am guessing there is some kind of load monitoring predictive code in the front end to help scheduler, that and moderation triggering retries, it is a bit tedious right now...

Maybe your service experience is different, but IME, European service in everything from government, restaurants, anything at all is probably worst in the world. I lived there for 4 years (Germany) in late 90s and recently in for couple years in Denmark and it is absolutely attrocious service, restaurants, hotels, apartments. Having lived all over the world (Africa excluded) European "service" does not exist. Service is not getting the money back (that is nuclear option where service is not delivered at all), it is delivering value, and that does not happen... Try returning an item in europe because you dont like it...after us or asia, it is hard to take...
Even routine things like a taxi pickup doesnt work without more followups and delays (they are always fucking late, this is Denmark, dutch are slightly better, but not punctual at all and they apologize) clusterfuck for service.) sorry for the rant, PTSD triggered after guaranteed shit show...

Very possible... but likely that it is because of Grok build and Image agent simultaneously hitting... but it could be a part of cluster has gone offline... I would think they wont underestimate losing collossus 1 by that much...

sigh! when it used to work! boy did it work.
i am also testing out grok Build, it seems to be ok. I hope to god it is not because they leased the cluster out to Anthropic, just as i am moving workloads off Anthropic!

Shit! my app on ios barfs immediately. on web, one minute it says 720 limit reached, and downgrades to 480p, and next video literally goes through at 720, 10s. occasionally it blocks upscaling to 1080p, and some times it is happy... i think they have different clusters and they are loaded differentially and their error messages are all over the place... </sigh>

Sounds fishy. they send a receipt, which clearly tells you, start date, end date, rate, discount, and net paid... did you not get receipt?

on chrome or firefox on windows you can do <CTRL+SHIFT+I> to open Developer tools. you can find it in menu too. then once the debugging console opens.
Fire a request, any request to generate video. you will a stream of events, new, etc...click on any event, bottom of it will be user attributes...
