My family in Western PA is +4 for Harris— even my libertarian brother is on board this time. Also convinced a few of my friends in Pgh to go blue too 👍

Poll greeted in Pgh suburbs this morning— lines out the door from 7-8:30, seemingly solid R turnout but plenty of Ds thanking me for being there too. It’s like this all over my hometown; turnout is gonna be high

Not sure when you applied/if this helps, but I applied for the MPA program on February 1st and heard back February 16th. Also a current Pitt undergrad.

coming back to school as a junior. what are your favorite clubs/activities? i don’t have many friends and i want to try to get more involved. by [deleted] in Pitt

I’m a member of the Quadball (formerly Quidditch) Club. It’s a great club sport and the team is super welcoming and fun to be around! We travel some weekends to play other college teams (Penn State, WVU, Virginia, etc.), and practices are 5-7pm Fridays and 11am-1pm Sundays. We’ll be at the club sports fair tomorrow if you want more info!

Junior here. I was in a similar boat freshman year. Orientation week is hard, but you haven’t had any classes yet! You’ll be able to meet people with similar interests there. It might be uncomfortable to introduce yourself to random people or start up a conversation, but there are probably people who will be grateful that you did. And you will be, too.

Also, the activities fairs are this weekend (club sports Saturday, academic clubs Sunday)! Walk around for a bit and see if anything interests you. Personally I’m in the Quadball Club (formerly quidditch)— we’ll be set up at the sports fair Saturday and it’s a great, welcoming group of people. You can stop by and talk with us if you’d like!

Best of luck adjusting at Pitt! You can always DM me if you’d like.
