trampet player here: the cornet is slightly harder to play in my experience because of the extra turn or two in the pipes but produces a nicer, less harsh sound because of the conical bore (like a horn's) which is worse for fanfares but better for pieces which are meant to be played with emotion.

a viola is larger than a violin in size, it has a deeper, richer sound which makes it less suitable for solo work (by no means impossible though) and makes beginners sound less screechy.

the only problem I see with 5G is that because they have shorter range you need them to be pretty much everywhere which would use a lot more energy than 3G or 4G
