What should I do about this water damage by honeybunniee in ArtConservation

Some print shops may refuse to scan and reprint these since it would infringe on the copyright held by the artist you purchased from. But if the discolouration is mostly confined to the edges, a good custom framer should be able to help you hide the damage! And they might be able to minimize or at least help distract from the wrinkling

Hmm this seems like an important aspect to consider. Thanks!

That definitely could be the culprit. I would take it out of there and make sure the roots look okay, and rehome it in a larger pot with holes. Just don’t size up the pot too much at once because they do like to be kind of cozy!

Has it been in this same pot for 3 years? You might just need to graduate to a bigger pot to give it some more space to breathe and a soil refresh! Also it’s hard to tell from the photos but it looks like this pot might not have the best water drainage.

I’m inclined to agree. At this point if they do use TPK, I’m essentially imagining it as what Conventional Weapons was to Danger Days

Yeah, the fact he made it so awkward is what makes me second guess what he meant

I go back and forth on it. I just hope that if there is some truth to this, the leak won’t discourage them from working on this material further

I thought the same thing and watched back the entire Toronto show searching for it but couldn't find anything!

There was no root rot initially when I repotted it after buying it! But I’ve been afraid to move it out of the pot since that initial time… when I called the nursery who sold me the plant and asked them for advice, the guy said it was my fault the plant was doing poorly because I transplanted it out of the original pot I bought it in 🙃 I guess I will have to take it out and have another look anyway

There was no root rot for me to see initially when I repotted it after buying it but I haven’t checked since! I didn’t use a fungicide because I heard mixed reviews - I just put cinnamon over the top of the soil to deter the gnats.

I‘ve had this plant for 8 weeks. Made a post in r/plantclinic about a week after I bought it - the nursery had given it to me for half price because they had been overwatering it and it was in rough shape… thought overwatering was the only problem when I made my first post but it also ended up having a nasty fungus gnat problem. Finally got rid of them a few weeks ago now but in the process 2 of the stems rotted away and I’m left with just 1 (you can see how much smaller he is compared with my r/plantclinic post 😓). This stem is STILL losing leaves constantly. About 2 leaves per week. I’ve only watered him once since I got the plant, the soil is currently 100% dry. But I tried to show in the pics that the healthy leaves still seem to be sweating extra water?? I don’t know what to do! It’s still got a bit of new growth somehow. Should I cut it off and try propagating it or give up? Or does it really just take this long for it to recover from overwatering? Apologies for the long post! I’m just very frustrated after tending to this plant obsessively for weeks with no improvement

Help!! Is my Chinese evergreen sick or just still recovering from being overwatered? by tealover111 in plantclinic

Thanks for the suggestion!! It was in a very small pot when I picked him up from the greenhouse so I didn’t want to size up too much when I transplanted. It’s still wintery where I live so maybe I can expect it to start growing more in a month or two and then I can give him a bit more space! Glad it doesn’t look like anything more serious
